    • Bargain!

    • Did they "broden" it!!!

For the Latitude 7300 laptop, the linked page says 8GB RAM instead of the 16GB it says here.

    • Listing updated. Thanks for pointing that out.

Anything below 16 is just not usable :/ I'm guessing these are 90% in that position as well - without me looking at each one of you know

Hi, it will depend on what you are going to do with the laptop. There is also an option to upgrade the RAM to 16GB if anyone is looking to upgrade.

      • $30 to upgrade to 16GB, that's a no-brainer

      • I thought they are soldered? Did you replace the ram and resolder??

As most people know, "below 16GB RAM is unusable" this is complete hyperbole.

Most people don't play games on laptops, 90% people don't use CAD software, virtualisation, or photoshop on 5 year old, off-lease computers. SOME people benefit from 16GB+ RAM.

My parents used a 4GB laptop for 7 years, then upgraded this year it started being fragile. My main laptop has 24GB RAM (<10GB used right now despite all the virtualisation and other crap running) and I use a Surface Pro with 8GB.

Some people need 16GB RAM. If you're not sure, it's a cheap upgrade. 8GB is fine for most.

      • Spoken like a person who only opens 4 tabs in Chrome :)

Most people don't need more than 8GB RAM, and those that do know that they do.

It doesn't take much to browse websites or watch Netflix.

With new batteries, those $250 Dells are an outstanding entry level PC solution.

  • I can barely get out of bed on 16 these days. Might have to move to mini PC territory USB-C screen

  • Hi Can you do Windows 10 installed on Lat 7300?

    • Hi, yes we can. After ordering, please send us a msg with your requirement and we will prepare it accordingly.

    • why do you prefer Win10 over Win11?

Awesome laptop, bought it from metrocom some time ago for my y8 kid, after she broke 2 brand new ones ;)

  • Apologies if this is against Ozbargain rules or anything, but if anyone is interested in a Latitude 7420 (14", Intel 11th gen i5, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD) for $420 with free postage, I've put up a classified listing here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/875236

Compared to the 7300, the latitude 7420 is two years newer and has a 14" screen (vs 13"), plus obviously newer CPU, more ram, etc.

    • I thought you are selling at similar price hehe

  • Hey OP, what’s the rough ETA for processing and delivery?

    • Keen to know also as I'm heading OS on Friday for 2 weeks and don't want anything delivered while I'm away..

      • Hi, the processing time will depend on the order queue unless priority processing and express shipping is selected. Thanks.

  • Damn missed out on the 7300

  • What are the main differences between the 7300 and the 5300 considering similar specs?
