As grand as this is… rules is rules… sub $50.

    • Yes, hoping for 50% discount.

If you got it for $45 with VPN on GOG on launch, you will be laughing. :)

Sub $50 if you want at g2a

For anyone buying this, just be aware that it's a steam account and not a cd key.

If you're going to buy it there you may as well just "aquire" it online, g2a is much worse than "sailing the seven seas" in many ways.

You don't know how the game was originally acquired (could be from using a stolen payment method) and buying a steam account itself is highly against steams ToS and there is a non zero chance the account will be banned.

      • Agreed. If you don't want to pay a reputable source, you are probably better off pirating games than supporting G2A. I’ll be waiting for sub-50 sale myself.

Best game I've ever played. My playthrough took me close to 150hours, well worth a buy at any price.

Its definitely great, but my playthrough was really brought down by the act 3 bugs at launch, hopefully they have fixed act 3 by now though.

      • It was very playable on launch especially act 1+2 but I agree act 3 had some very common issues and on my first playthrough I did have a bug at least twice that forced me to reload an older save.

It is much better now; they've been hard at work developing heaps of patches over the last year with so many fixes, changes, improvements and even additional content, cutscenes and official mod support etc. Really gone above and beyond to make the game even more polished whilst making up for anything lacking at launch.
It's a very complex game world so as you'd expect it will never be 100% perfect but it's in a really good place now. You almost certainly won't have major issues in act 3.

Finished my first play through about a month ago, I didn't notice any significant bugs, certainly nothing game-breaking. Might depend on your choices, though, but they have been very active with patching both bugs and additional content, so definitely worth giving it another shot!

Yeah I put 200 hours into one playthrough with a friend just taking our time to explore every nook and cranny. And there's still plenty of replayability by making different decisions that alter the story paths, using different party setup and using the Dark Origin character.

Seriously, the game is sooo immersive and thorough. One of the best RPG's ever made.
