Don’t forget to change currency to USD.

Works fine for me, I have a monthly VPN Plus subscription. Just follow the OP's link and click "Get the deal", then sign in at the "Create your account" section. You have to go through the link though, those prices aren't reflected in the normal "Your Plan" section of your dashboard.
change to $USD its $us36/$au55 or €36/$au60
Done.
How does the value proposition for VPNs like this work? I’ve been thinking about trialling something like this for privacy, but I’m not really sure how to quantify the value or decide whether it’s worth paying for something like this.
I do a bit of torrenting, so understand the value of privacy, but is it really that likely that anyone is going to come after me?
I always vpn all my devices to my home using wireguard FWIW, so not worried about security in public places.
If it's privacy you want, this is one of the few providers you should consider.
In terms of whether anyone will come after you, there have been attempts at finding and prosecuting Australians through ISPs (see iiNet vs Dallas Buyer's Club).
"Justice Nye Perram ruled in favor of DBC's application, ordering ISPs to hand over the requested information. However, in a later decision, the court dismissed the case in its entirety"
I have been using this for quite a while for P2P and it is brilliant, using the wireguard tcp setting, I get my full download speed almost all of the time
The best VPN prices can be found on Shopback and Cashrewards for 1st time subscribers. Good ones such as Nord and Surfshark often 90+% cashback.
I thought those aren’t as good?
Dunno. They are all pretty good I reckon. I you have special use cases you may lean towards one over the others.

Can you choose the start date for this? My current plan with someone else doesn't expire for a while.
75% off Proton VPN if you sign up for the 24-month plan (€2.49p/m) via PC Mag's link. It's a Black Friday referral link.
Proton vpn not available to already subscribed members but other options are available.
