Hi guys, shopback are having a 20% off Lenovo sale now (capped at $250) bringing this laptop down to $1179

Amazing value for a pretty decent laptop in my opinion, apart from the 16gb ram. Great iGPU for on the go and 2-in-1 form factor, OLED screen is a plus and the build quality and battery life is good on this model. Has some pretty good reviews on youtube as well.

    Cap is $250.

@Imnuts7 Thank you for this, updated in the post.

This Cashback deal is not valid together with:

Promos or Vouchers not featured on ShopBack

    EARLYACCESS is not on ShopBack.

    • Removed, however I think because this is part of the Black Friday promo, it is automatically applied in your cart.

      • Does this invalidate the cashback?

  • Anyone know if additional 16GB memory can be added? Doesn't looks like there is an option in the 'Build PC' process.

Does shop back actually pay up on Lenovo laptops I have read people complaining.

    • +2

      Didn't for my last one.

  • +4

16GB RAM is not an issue. Just install Windows 2000.

    • +3

Install Apple OS … you'll only need 4gb

  • Need 880m or 890m

Extra 8% cashback if paid via a Westpac card

    • +1

Is that part of the $250 cap or on top?

  • Thanks OP!
Does anyone know if paying by afterpay using linked Westpac card would be eligible for 20% + 8% bonus CB?
Cant find any cap mentioned on 8% bonus cashback too!
    TIA

  • $350 tracked using westpac card.

And just confirmed ineligible with the codes by gotyourback on the other thread. So might want to cancel if you wanted the 20+8%

      • oh thanks! If no cashback there are def better deals for laptop. Will cancel then.

This deal should be updated so people won't buy it thinking they might get the 20% cashback.

      • +1

Does it mean, even if it is tracked, cashback wont actually be honoured because of EARLYACCESS code? TIA.

        • +1

I wouldn't risk it. I have cancelled my order (well, requested to cancel on their website) just to be safe.

        • +2

Yes, it will be declined on the basis of ineligible coupon code, even if tracked.

  • I have not bought a brand new laptop (same year model) in a while and mostly discounted model shown on OzB. But, with the latest video from Dave2D, it appears that there is a large difference between the Windows laptop generations. So, worth checking the exact CPU being used.

  • Is it worth spending ~$400 more for the 32GB RAM and 2.8k OLED now or holding for Black Friday / Boxing Day?

    • +3

These are Lenovos Black Friday deals. Black Friday is Back November these days

      • Yep I'd not expect more from Lenovo. It looks like they want to charge more for the 32GB version everywhere.

  • I have the older version of this (R7 6800u / 680M) and it's a great machine that still performs quite well. That being said, this one's last gen and I'd get something newer, maybe an 890M or Intel Lunar Lake / Arc 140V

Ordered one! Had to organise a laptop for my kid who starts high school next year, perfect timing.
