  • No offence meant by this, but what makes a $140 audio cable any different from your standard audio store $20 cable?
Seems a bit crazy to pay that much, might just be me though 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • +3

      The difference is $120

  • Thanks for the comment, that is nothing offence taken, I do expect that the price difference shock out!

The David Laboga cable is in a high-end tier compared to standard audio shop cables.
But please let me explain, Just like in the HiFi world, where some high-end speakers can go for over $9K, or in cars where a luxury model and a basic car both get you from A to B but offer very different experiences, it’s about quality and the details. Ultimately, it’s about finding what fits each person’s needs.

Furthermore, this cable also comes with a lifetime warranty, so it’s built to last. 😊 Hope that helps explain the difference a bit!

  • .Conductivity: Higher-quality cables often use better materials (like oxygen-free copper) that can offer superior conductivity. However, for short runs (under 50 feet), the difference in performance is often negligible.
.Cost vs. Benefit: For most casual listeners, high-quality mid-range cables are sufficient. Expensive cables may offer diminishing returns in terms of sound quality improvement.
.Finally, while there are technical differences between cheap and expensive cables, the audible impact on sound quality can vary based on factors like cable length, system design, and listener perception. For most home audio setups, investing in reasonably priced, well-made cables is typically adequate.
