I was going to get Accor Plus for $399 but this gives 20% off Swissotel, while Accor Plus is 10% off.
Sign up through Malaysia - or another country - much cheaper.
Also, at least in Australia, most Accor properties are in terrible need of a refurb and change of management (Especially Swissotel).
Looking into 2 bedroom Apartment in Dubai for 6 weeks. Hope rooms are better than australia
just fyi accor plus is usually asia pacific (without china) so accor plus wont give you free night in dubai.
Yes but you also get two night's free if you sign up (for accor plus) through Malaysia.
Is the Malaysia Accor explorer plus membership for 1 year which includes 2 nights about $550 AUD?
The standard 1 night free with the Accor Plus Explorer membership is about $342 AUD.
I just renewed my Accor Plus Explorer membership in Fiji for $312 AUD/yr which is about on par with Malaysia I think, but open to any better deals others have?
About A$400 in Indonesia with the 2 nights free.
.
@w1nthrophy: Where are you seeing two free nights for $400?
Is that ongoing? And how does one access this?
Did you mean Accor Explorer? You repeated Accor Plus twice :D
No discounts at Mantra, Peppers, Art Series…
Does this stack with the previous ALL membership providing 20 status nights?
Not worth it - for the same price in previous deals you got 1 night free. This does not give you a night free
without the 'free night' this doesnt seem worth it but someone want to explain why it is a 'good deal'
accor plus(the program that gives free nights) is only asia pacific(minus china). this is world wide. the extra 20% off can thus be quite substantial if you stay 5+ nights in some of the nicer options. if you plan to stay a couple of places that would cost more then 200 euro for 5 nights or more this would work out cheaper.
Yes that is why I thought I was a deal. As a worldwide card this gives you more options. Also you get 20% off instead of a free night that everyone says is hard to redeem when you want it.
I read that as Accor ALL PLUS Voyeur
I have been following Accor membership for over a year now. However every time I checked price in app, it is always more expensive than booking.com or Expedia. And sometimes I can get 10%+ back from cashrewards/shopback. Where I was wrong?
Members price is not visible to general public. You need the Accor plus account.
I can confirm that the Accor member price is lower. If booking, Expedia etc are lower, Accor will price match.
Accor also gets cashrewards…
.
Not to mention A+ Red Room offer, when you can easily get an accommodation for half price of Expedia.
There's Accor Live Limitless and there's Accor Plus. The former is free and the latter is a yearly subscription. If you have been with them over a a year perhaps it's the former, or latter but expired.
I've been with Accor Plus for a month or 2 I've had cashback tracked, but yet to stay/see if it goes through.
The 10% off always seem to be cheaper than Expedia etc, at least that's my experience with Australian Hotels. Also booking through ALL direct you do get rewards points.
The free hotel stay does seem to offset a lot of the costs of the Accor Plus membership.
I'd say the 50% dinning benefit offsets a lot more.
Can you book Dubai with accor plus and get th discount?
Not in Dubai but I stayed at an Accor hotel in Qatar over the weekend and got discount rate. Meals are only 20% discount irregardless of the number of people eating. In Asia I get 50% meal discount when there's 2 people eating.
.
What are the different Accor subscription programs / cards ?
Accor offers different subscription cards that cater to various customer profiles and regional needs. Two of these cards are country-of-origin-centric: the ALL Signature in Brazil and the ALL PLUS China in mainland China. The other two are more brand-led/destination-centric: Accor Plus in the Asia Pacific and ALL PLUS globally but mostly aimed at travelers who mainly visit Europe.
The ALL PLUS ibis and ALL PLUS Voyageur cards are compatible with each other (only the Status Nights bonuses accumulate). They are also compatible with other cards offered by Accor, such as ALL Signature and ALL PLUS China. However ALL PLUS cards are not compatible with Accor Plus cards.
Can someone explain what's the point of this?
I understand the benefits but it seems a large outlay for these perks?
Thank you
