They make more from the free Rewards program.
Likely but Micolash said memebers, which are both paid and free
Yeah.. someone must be paying them to know whether I prefer red or green apples.
Big Apple.
Big banana out there spying on consumers again
And your billing address, mailing address, residential address, email address, phone number, age, sex, and probably photo, gait & other things not overtly volunteered
No discount for me, $70… cancelled. I'll pay $35.. $70 is borderline not worth it.
No discount renewal for me but since joining
$1,154.92
Extra Discounts49,286
Extra Points22
Extra Perks redeemedWill still renew at $70 but will try cancelling to get a cheap renewal offer
Damn.. how long is that?
I presume over two years worth or perhaps 3? I joined quite early on when they were piloting the launch. Always had value to me as we ensured we bundled our shop. I also have Woolworths mobile to get 10% in store so I expect our savings have been closer to double.
It pays for itself. I stack the 10% off with the WW gift cards with 4% off.
based on my savings I get $35 back in around ~3months and for $70 probs will take me ~7months
already had the $35 pending in my account for renewal in December 2024… nice.
Logged into check and it mentions at the top in a banner
You’ve got half-price for a second year
Your discount will be applied automatically when your annual subscription renewsYour annual plan is $35 until 10 January 2026, then $70/year
Joined on 11 December 2023
Next billing date 10 January 2025 ($35/year)Received no email though, wouldn't have known ty op (was gunna change to coles to try it out but wont now lol)
Yeah same here, was planning to change to Coles too as I like their homebrand products more, but will stick to Woolies again because of this.
Or maybe they planned this all along huh, since Coles launched a similar product
Mine is due for renewal tomorrow. I've cancelled now to see if there's another Black Friday offer. Other half did the 35 sub on her account last year and had been offered the 2nd year at 35 too.
Damn logged in to app and no banner and says plan renews November 15 for $70. Will wait and see and maybe cancel before renewal and see if another deal comes around towards Black Friday/EOY.
Coles has something similar for $7, wonder who is paying that…
Probably people spending more than $70 a month in one shop at Coles.
Isn't the normal price like $19 a month? lol…
Anything coming up for new subscribers?
Get Everyday Extra half-price
Reactivate your subscription at $35 for a second year.
Next billing date
4 July 2025 ($70/year)(currently on the $35/yr promo)
how do you use the 10% off when shopping online? My wife does our direct to boot order each week and said she can't apply the discount. So we have to go in once a month. (we get this through woolworths pet insurance)
the code/coupon box appears on the final checkout screen (up the top right 'ish - on PC)
The codes have the same format every month - 'X'-MONTH-YEAR - eg October code is XOCT2024 or you can find the code in the app or login to everyday extra
Awesome will try it out.
AFAIK the 10% online discount is only available to Everyday Extra subscribers.
While Woolies pet insurance, car insurance, and mobile customers do get a 10% off offer it can only be redeemed in-store and is not available online.
AFAIK the 10% off vouchers you get through the insurance and mobile plans are now only available for use in-store. In contrast, this Everyday Extra one are usable online or in-store. EDIT: looks like i should have refreshed before responding.
I always thought this was that they wanted you in the store where you can take advantage of all their advertising and impulse buys
I didn't get the offer, thank God. Now I have an excuse to cancel!
Mine is up for renewal in Apr 2025, no offer received.
I haven't received the email (yet), but upon checking my account I had the offer if I reactivated 🙏🏼 glad I was proactive in cancelling a month ago incase a retention offer came through!!
Black Friday falls Fri, 29 Nov 2024 so mine will renew for $70 just before that date Fri, 24 Nov. Maybe time to cancelled. Never got the $35 email.
whats this free item people have been getting on these memberships?
October was a free juice for me
here's 2 posts BUT, just a quick scroll through the comments you will see what other stuff other people got…

generally 1 item each month and quite random, but some items are common across members too..
Canned my sub, stupid woolies would have got me too, my renewal was in 2 weeks and would have just auto renewed at $70. Now they get $0. All the recent freebies have been complete rubbish
Your move, banducci
Banducci is no more CEO.
I contacted live chat, and they confirmed that I'm eligible for the $35 renewal, even though my account currently shows a $70 renewal. They told me that if I'm charged $70, they'll credit back the difference.
