Screenshot of the offers.

  • FYI
A lot of fraud has been reported on Doordash accounts over the last couple of weeks.
I was warned a couple weeks back then surely enough i had over $300 of orders taken from my account!

      How?

      • Doordash data breach that impacted 370,000 accounts.

        • When was this data breach? Google is giving me a bunch of news articles dating back to August 2022…

          • @RocketToSpace: It looks like a few data breaches have affected doordash. Some recent news on doordash was in March and April this year. Overall millions of DoorDash accounts have been affected by data breaches over the years.

      • Not too sure but Doordash were incredibly hard to try and get the funds back.
Even Paypal customer service told me they were difficult to work with

Why does the wording say “up to 50%” off. Makes me think you’re likely to only get 20-30% off

    • It could just mean if you exceed the maximum amount off, it wont equal 50%

    • +1

      It's a maximum of $15, that's why

      • Ah yes good point, that makes sense!

  • Not in my account. Should be targeted.

Finally got something decent from CBA Yello.

This would be my first upvote for CBA Yello in a LONG time.

  • +17

    This is stupidly misleading.

If minimum spend is $30 and max discount is $15. Then its just $15 off with a $30 or more spend

    Not 50% at all

    • +2

      $15 off $30 is 50% off…

      • $15 is the only amount you can possibly save. So it is a $15 saving.

$15 is ONLY 50% if you spend exactly $30.00

Thats like getting a $10 coupon, buying something worth $10. And saying its a 100% off coupon

Probably a CBA Yello intern doesn’t know how to word deals properly. Also probably not an Ozbargainer experienced with how deals are worded.

Am I right that this reads you first spend $30 (100 percent spend) and then you get a code for up to 50% off your next order of $30? so in a sense 25% off?

    • You are, that is what I got as well

    • Oh yeah. This sounds like the CBA that I’ve been with for all my banking for all my life. Sick of being constantly repeatedly swindled, I’m finally moving everything away from them.

    • +7

Takes 50% off straight away, just tried.

    • CBA's wording for this promo is quite confusing. Instead of 'receive a promo code for up to 50% off', it should say something like 'use the provided code for up to 50% off'.

    • It’s poorly worded. If you go to your commbank app and open up this targeted offer, you will see a very long cryptic promo code that you can copy and use on your current DoorDash order, not the next order.

  • +1

It is 50% off first order.

    • Worthy of an upvote then 😃

    • 50% off first order, and same code works on new accounts.

  • Says save $15 but on my end it says $16 lol.

    • Yea, I saved $16 too

  • +1

Worked, and $16 not $15 as others have noticed. Anyone want to swap their code with me (PM/message me), I'm guessing each unique code can be used once per account so might be able to double dip with different codes.

    • Just to share my findings. You can only use 1 code per account even unique codes. Experiment failed.

  • I went to use mine today and it has disappeared 😟

    • Same :/

    • +1

In the future I strongly recommend taking a screenshot, or copy and paste the code to save it somewhere. Happened last time CBA had this deal. The page disappeared due to an app update but the code that was provided still worked.
