That's silly, ozgameshop offer free shipping from UK!
It's not really "free shipping". Anyone who offers free shipping (unless you are getting it taken off via a coupon code) is subsidising their shipping cost with the cost of the item itself. Ozgameshop was charging $80 for the Insane Edition which factors in their cost of postage.
It has been $59 at jbhifi, up until yesterday i believe, awsome game.
The standard edition was, not the Insane Edition.
Derp. Ordered wrong version, but gave them a quick call and it was rectified. Had to pay the $64 instead of $58, but he refunded my shipping so it was was only an extra $1.05.
The guy said it should stay $64 until stock runs out :)
Why didn't they fully refund the difference?
He said he didn't have the power to do that. I would've argued if it was a $5 difference, but $1 is okay with me. But yeah, he just kept saying 'the best I can do is…' but I just left it because I was at work and not really supposed to be on the phone.
That seems like a load of crap to me but anyway, like you said, it was only a dollar.
That and I'm sucker for polite customer service people these days.
