Using 20% off Perks Code on this product, which will bring it to less than 1.8k.

cheaper than TGG offer at $1,839, and I am guessing a lot of OZ bargain has JB hifi gift card from telstra phone deal

  • Can someone report back with how good this thing is on corners and does the squarish/ rectangle shape make it harder for it to get into tight spaces..

    • +1

It gets closer than my old round S5 Max does as a result of it's shape (e.g) but not as close as the FlexiArm Side Brush can found on the newer Roborocks and other brands.
I got mine yesterday and the mopping and navigation is outstanding though, I haven't seen it bump into anything and my floors have never been cleaner.

  • n.b.: Not to be confused with the eufy S1 Pro Breast Pump: https://www.eufy.com/au/products/t8d04121?variant=4934205469…

Eh.. both suck right? same same

How does this compare with Roborock Qrevo Master Robotic?

    • +1

This has better obstacle detection and a better mopping system but isn't as good for vacuuming medium to deep pile carpets. If you have hard floor throughout this is a bargain compared to the Master currently, but if you have more carpeting i'd get the Master (well, personally i'd wait until the Master goes on sale, $2500+ is nuts).

      • How about MaxV vs S1 Pro? Vacuum wars updated their best vacuum, and it seems now Maxv is higher than S1.
This is a comparison that I am doing between Qrevo MaxV and S1, as I am torn whether it is worth it spending additional $500 on S1 Pro. Most of my house are hard floor, and my Roborock dyad just died :

        Qrevo MaXv
        Pro:
        - better for the corner cleaning, with the extension,
        - 2 years warranty , EUFY only offer 1 year.
        - Cheaper by $500
        -Possibly better Apps experience

        Cons:
        -Mopping using dirty water

        PRO EUFY S1 pro:
-Best at mopping in general, especially with continue cleaning mopping
        -Suction is slightly higher
        -Better avoidance

        Neutral factor:
-Ozone cleaning - not sure whether this marketing gimmick and there is also article about ozone being harmful

        Cons:
-will need to continue to buy EUFY detergent
        -$500 more expensive

I went with the S1 Pro because the entire house we're moving to in a couple of months is wood floor, so rugs aside the carpet vacuuming isn't an issue, and truth be told we’re not the best at not leaving things on the floor, so the superior object avoidance appeals too.

If we had >25% carpet, i think i'd probably have held off until Roborock inevitably copy the Eufy mop cleaning tech and get the best of both worlds.

          • @Arsenal: Interesting.. I would say I have 120 sqm of tiles of which 10 sqm or less is a rug.

I'm still torn between the two. I may have the opportunity to buy either for the same price.

            • @Daves88: is that between S1 pro and Roborock Qrevo master at sub 1.8k?

that will be awesome price for Qrevo master

              • @danz84: Yeah. S1 sounds appealing because of the mopping function/avoidance system for kids toys..

However I feel the master maybe a better overall unit.

Another thing.. the curv sounds like its not too far behind.

It would be great to see them all in action.

                • @Daves88: I think at the same price the Master is better overall, but I haven't seen the Master below $2500, let alone below $1800.. and because of that I wasn't even considering the Curv which hasn't even launched here and thus is unlikely to be sub $1800 in the next year.

                  • @Arsenal: I think I may take a leap of faith and try the master. I suspect the curve maybe some time before it's available here
