Nice price drop, must be a remaster coming soon!

    • A remaster seems unlikely for a new-ish game…

      • +7

Might be a joke with constant remasters happening?

        • +1

Yeee was just kidding around; but I think Starfield does have a DLC coming at the end of this year so maybe stock clearing out for a bundled physical/special edition?

      • Tell that to sony!

  • +3

Sadly this doesn’t include the critically acclaimed dlc Shattered Space

    • +4

      /s implied

  • yeah just get it on steam they do it really cheap end of the year. and its much better played on a PC.

    • Yeah, mods might not make it great but a lot more bearable.

    • -3

But then you wont actually own the game ;)

  • Just giving it away now.

    • -3

It came out over a year ago. And available on gamepass, all things considered, that is far being given away. What would you expect this to have been priced at at this point in time?

      • It's a first party game, of course it'll be on gamepass. CoD will soon too.

        • -1

its great if you like renting games and paying a subscription fee to gamepass.

          • +3

@kungfuman: I don't care about "owning" games. I'd pirate all my games if I could.

            • -1

@AustriaBargain: even that is getting harder to do since most games require a internet connection now a days.

        • It's a first party game, of course it'll be on gamepass.

That was my point? The fact it is on GP and it is still $30 for physical it is still far from being given away like the person I replied to was claiming.

          • @Lucille Bluth: The person you replied to was trying to be 'cool' but bagging this game was so last year.

        gamepass

        @Lucille Bluth,

I paid GamePass Ultime since ages ago and for what???
I sold my One X Gears Special Edition to buy a XSX and for what???

There are no games, I mean, where is the next gen games that was promised???
Hellblade 2 that was more a movie than a game??

I downgraded my subscription to GamePass Console to have access to Multiplayer and started buying media again.
The games available on GamePass right now, they either suck, they are for kid or I already played in the past with media.
I turned on my XSX the other after a decade to download Warhammer game ( media ) but haven't touched it yet.

I will get Starship Troopers, media also.
I haven't played COD since 2019 COD MW after Activision destroyed it to push garbage with Cold War and Vanguard crappy, BO6 was somewhat fun but more of the same. I will give it a try but no high expectations based on the open beta I played, it is "free" anyway, I wouldn't pay full price on it.
I feel like I have been scammed with this generation big time.

I got this game at launch and i'd say at $26.33 its still over priced.

if you want a GOOD space trading / adventure game get star wars outlaws.

    • +2

HAHAHAHA Sure thing champ… Outlaws has a worse user score than Starfield on Metacritic. Nice try though.

      • -1

Ive played both and found outlaw to be much better than starfied

    • Of the last 20 games I've played its the only one I've abandoned and never finished.

    • +1

Honestly for games set in space, I'd recommend No Man's Sky, Outer Wilds or any of the Mass Effect games really.

    • Not sure why youve been negged when its true. I love fall out style games but couldnt stand starfield for more than a few hours. Outlaws on the other hand ive put over 30 hours and still having a great time. Dont believe everything you read online, give it a try first.

No doubt it is this cheap already, this game is nothing gut full of bugs, It is still overpriced.

3 months of games lost due to bugs:

    • Over 1M credits, I had so much credits man
    • 6 outputs across 5 interconnected systems ( you need helium )
    • Extreme weather planet outputs ( skill required )
    • Robots, fusion energy and self-manufacturing goods, I was no longer buying anything
    • Copper, gold, aluminium, helium, iron, tungsten, titanium, ,etc. Oh boy, I was making 14k credits per sale of my extractions
    • The most exotics and strong weapons + perks ( acid, fire, ice, poison, etc )
    • My spaceship were basic maxed out, I was unlocking the strongest engine of the game

I got the profile bug on my XSX and the game never really saved it.
I mean, tell me which bug I didn't get lmao
This game had such a potencial but it turned out to be nothing but pure garbage having to fight bugs after bugs to play the game.
I am not playing a Bethesda game again, I should have listened to my PC player friend regarding their games being full of bugs.

Moment or silence for those who bought this for $160 not even a year ago

  • Bad reviews.. looked good in trailer? No guys?? not worth me getting?

    • +1

Too much bugs, you will be trying to find ways to go around bugs that will lead you to another bug.
There is a mission that is a wild ride to get to it, if you die, it triggers a bug and you get stuck into the room without being able to do anything but close the game.

I kept saving it manually and that saved me from losing hours or game but well, I lost everything after all due to bugs.
I was playing this game every night ( see my comment above ).
It had potential but poorly executed.

  • Getting this should make it playable on PC too right?

  • its says $34.30 for me in my amazon prime cart, dont see a coupon for $26.33?? pls advise
