Roborock QRevo S $1036.80, QRevo MaxV Robotic Vacuum $1277.60 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

720
ROBO20

This is the newer version of the popular Q Revo with better suction (5500Pa vs 7000Pa) albeit a smaller dustbin (350ml vs 330ml).
It is #12 on Vacuum Wars "Top 20 Best Robot Vacuums in 2024", bested by more expensive offerings.
The QRevo MaxV (Ranked #8) is also available for $1,277.60 which I believe is an ATL.

The other notable mention is the eufy S1 Pro (Ranked #3) for $1839, which is cheaper than through TGGC at $1880 when I checked last.

Really good prices especially the maxv!

  • +1

I am a roborock fans since s5 max (which is still running well), great price!!!

  • +2

Goodness that’s cheap! Still loving my maxv.

  • Anyone know why this model isn’t matching to JB?

  • +4

    Hold for black friday?

    • I'm wondering the same thing !

    • +2

We pulled the trigger. Been holding out for long. Black Friday last time was quite underwhelming but you never know. Used discounted gift cards to further being it down by 5%.

      • Me too. I pulled the trigger on Big Deals day on the MaxV.
Have hard floors and its been great

  • Is the Roborock Qrevo Curv coming to Australia?

    It is #1 on https://vacuumwars.com/best-vacuum-cleaners/robot-vacuums/

    • This one should be interesting, I believe they borrowed a few ideas from Narwal. But it will cost twice as much as QRevo MaxV atm (considering QRevo Masters RRP $2600)

      • +1

Yeah, given the Master is still not being included in these sales it will be quite a while before the Curv is available here and at a decent discount.

    • This one

      • +1

This one is referring to The S or the MaxV ?

        • Max v.

  • +2

We got our MaxV via Good Guys staff discount in July and this is cheaper than that. Very good price!

  • +1

anyone used these on hardwood floors?
I am worried it will scratch the floors, but I also hate vacuuming…..

    • +5

I have one of the cheaper models, no issues with floor scratches on my floor.

    • +1

Once you have robot vacuum you never go back

      • I've just pulled the trigger on MaxV. But do you also keep another vacuum, such as dyson stick, for hard to reach places?

        • +1

Yeah you still want a hand vacuum, especially for deep cleaning and I find that I still need to do it every now and then on rugs etc and on top of skirting boards etc.

    • Doesn't scratch my floors. You can also program it to vacuum according to the orientation of your hardwood floors (along the grain) to further minimise scratching.

  • How does the S or MaxV compared to recent deals on mova robot

  • Anyone able to share which one i should commit to? Qrevo or Qrevo MaxV? i dont own any robot vaccum yet.

    • Qrevo MAXV is advanced model

      • when you say advanced model, do you mean it is the better choice? from my understanding the MaxV is the 'newer' one

        • Yes that's correct and better value

    • Comparison website. Select the models and check. Both are pretty much same except for the flexi-arm mop and some intelligent dust detection.

      https://global.roborock.com/pages/robot-vacuum-cleaner-compa…

    • +4

The MaxV has better obstacle avoidance and additionally gains -
      * Intelligent Dirt Detection
      * FlexiArm Design Mop - The arm the mop is attached to can extend to reach into corners.
      * Automatic Brush Lifting - The side brush can lift itself to avoid getting tangled in high pile carpet.

The latter two features I think are worth the extra, so I'd go with the MaxV.

  • That's a good price, I was kinda hoping for a good deal on the Qrevo Master but no way the price difference will be worth it compared to the MaxV at $1300 right …

    • Yeah the ~$800 difference is quite big.

  • +2

Anyone tried hooking this up with Home Assistant? Or got recommendations for ones that integrate nicely with HA?

Edit: If you have Bupa, you can also get GC with 4.5% off bringing them down to around $990 and $1220.

  • QRevo MaxV or wait for QRevo Master to come on sale?

    • The code works with Master too

      • then the question is whether the master is worth the extra $880~ over the MaxV

I think the things the master has going for it are:
        * Extra Suction
        * Double Roller (Not sure if this is actually a plus, especially since the curv goes back toa single roller)
        * Anti Tangle on the sides
        * Extendable Side Brush
        * Self Cleaning Dock

Dont forget to use discounted gift cards when purchasing.

Just ordered Q Revo MaxV for $1227.05 delivered after purchasing 5% discounted gift card.

    • Where do you buy GC?

      • +2

Got it from SmartSpending but it should be available on other places like BUPA

        • are the e gc instant or has to wait for hours to arrive?

          • +2

@theoscat: Instant. I got mine in less than a second via email but it probably depends on where you purchase.

        • I have Bupa but it's now only 4.5% instead of 5%, so $5 more lol

  • Super keen, we need another robot vacuum for upstairs. How does this compare to the S7 MaxV Ultra we have currently?

  • I hope Roborock has a better App than Ecovacs. We got the Ecovacs Deebot Omni X2 and the mapping function is aweful. Near impossible to sensibly divide the floorplan into zones/rooms. We've also had a few gremlins with false fault notifications. the vaccuum itself, has been doing a great job though. While typing this comment, I just heard from the wife that we are receiving a full refund on the Deebot. We will look into getting a Roborock this time.

    • The Xiaomi Home app is excellent. Easy to map, and zone rooms, add invisible barriers, add squares/rectangles around stuff you want it to avoid e.g. dog bowl

    • Roborock app is pretty good, but somewhat suffers from the same issues i.e. to divide rooms, you must draw a line that connects to solid points together. This is an issue in our home where we've got a 2 bedrooms that share a wall, and on one of them it also has a built in wardrobe that has mirror sliding doors. The roborock thinks it's more empty space because of the light sensor, and so the room is difficult to divide.

      • What happens when you draw a dividing wall along the mirror? When the robot enters the other room it should recognise the other room correctly. Set both rooms as bedrooms and make the built in void a no go zone. Does it get confused with seeing one room larger than it actually is and overlapping on the adjacent bedroom boundary?

Ecovacs is a terrible company and should be avoided at all costs. They were notified of serious security flaws (possible to remotely gain camera access) on their vacs and did nothing about it
      https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-10-11/robot-vacuum-yells-ra…

      • We scored! Ecovacs agreed to refund us through their authorised reseller (Harvey Norman). We ended up returning it and getting the Roborock S8 Ultra MaxV. I could not be happier with the app. It took 8mins to map out our ground floor and I spent 15mins dividing the rooms and that was it. No more of the roaming like a lost puppy BS!

  • Looks like the QRevo Master has the 20% off code too, worth hitting sold on that one compared to the MaxV?

    • That's a $900 question…

  • +1

finally pulled the trigger for QRevo MaxV. thanks

  • with the ATL, I've finally pulled the trigger too

  • Order already showing as Despatched.

  • +1

Have sent JB a request for the Qrevo MaxV - hoping it stacks with the 20% perks code.

    • I thought about doing that but they don't have stock within 200km of me (in Sydney) and no delivery available on it :(

Let me know how you go.

    • Specifically excludes Q Revo S. Code works on MaxV but I tried to get it delivered to Sydney Metro and their system said can't deliver to your address. Nearest stock for MaxV was showing on Nowra NSW.

Edit: Just priced matched at JB via chat and got the cart. They only matched $1539 which is the displayed price on The Good Guys. When I asked for the price after the ROBO20 code the response I got is "Hey Farhan I am afraid we cannot price match any coupon codes I am afraid it will be what every online price they have before coupon" . Secondly on the cart, I can't get delivery or click and collect anywhere is Sydney Metro. So that's a bust.

      • How did you get them to price match when they said they can't get stock.

        • They don't check stock on chat. Just give you a cart code which you then use to select where and how you want stock delivered. On that price matched cart itself, no stock in Sydney Metro.

      • I could not get it because the model number is different. The model on JB website does not show up anywhere else

        • Try Appliances Online. They price matched $1277 + $14 delivery for me.

  • Oh, S1 Pro under $1900 without have to mess about with opening another Super account is tempting. Only thing is I won't really have much need for it until we move in January, so i'm not sure if i wait and hope it comes down further, or one of the other manufacturers copies the better mopping mechanism.

    • +1

to fellow arsenal fan, you can get it for $1,797 at JB hifi, if you are a perk member, with the 20% offer on small appliances.

      • Yep, thanks I found that from the other thread - weirdly even though JB tells me i'm a perks member I haven't had an email with any codes. Hopefully theres an unused one in the shared thread when i come to pull the trigger later.

Fingers crossed Saka is fit Monday morning… not feeling too confident with him, Ode and Saliba out.

  • Does anyone know if it is safe to place the dock on carpet in a living room, or should I be concerned about potential leaks or docking issues?

    • +1

Watching it now there's a fair few drops within the inner base plate for me - but maybe they never escape? But if it was me I'd maybe find one of those plastic mats (like for office chairs) for it to live on… if it had to be on a carpet. (also I've literally owned for 2 hours, maybe someone else with more experience would like to comment)

  • +1

Picked it up from TGG (would have preferred JB as I had gift cards already but no stock) at lunch time, and it is currently mopping the floor. Thanks for the heads up OP, also I'll have to keep an eye out for the cheap roborock refillables and accessories deals!

    • What accessories are there for this model?

  • Can vouch for this ROBO, excellent mopping function.

  • Harvey Norman will price match, no interest free with the match however.

Might be useful to some who have gift cards with them like I did

    $1277 was the price I got. 60c savings 🤣

    • How did you get them price match? Did you do it via online chat product assistance? Tried a few times and they won’t do it :(

      • Yep, asked if they'd price match that price with the listed 20% off discount recorded on the website

I reckon if I said yes to interest free purchase when he asked I wouldn't have gotten a match

        • Off to try for the 5th time lol

          • @kaybc: Based on their own policy they can only refuse if it's too far below the RRP for them which this could maybe be and if you can't purchase immediately at the other supplier but goodguys has it available to order. But otherwise as long as it's listed on the site they should be able to match it

            Good luck

      • Anyone trying to get Harvey norman to price match (they had stock.. TGG was 11/11 delivery for me)

they won't do it online through chat as I dont think they have much discretion, however if you call a store that has stock it is up to the manager. I just got them to price match it at $1277 by calling the store direct. collecting this afternoon.

  • God that is so annoying, I just bought the QRevo S a few weeks back for $1254 thinking that was a bargain now they sell the MaxV for nearly that price!!

  • +3

Ended up getting the QRevo Master for $2159 with JB perks discount. Will need to unfollow all further robovac posts so I don’t see it drop further in the near future

  • Will it stack with cachrewards 4% cash back?
CR states exclude discounts not listed on cash rewards but the code is from TGG so..?

  • Can we use entertainment book gift cards for the full amount?

  • +1

Thanks for this OP, got the MaxV.

For me, the Master is probably worth $400-500 more than the MaxV, but not $900 more imo.

If it was $400-500 more I would have probably gone with it instead.

No way Black Friday has better sales for these vacuums, I would be genuinely shocked maybe at best it is $50-100 cheaper.

  • Thanks, grabbed one! Used a GC through Bupa to get an extra 4.5% off.

    • How long did it took for your GC to arrive? It's been hours since I paid for the GC but still haven't received the details…

      • There is a little refresh button top right of the GC panel (symbol is an arrow) that I clicked after about 20 seconds and it refreshed and the grey GC turned to blue and had a ‘new’ sticker on it.

  • I have a TGG gift card for sale in the classified section for anyone interested

  • I just bit the bullet on the MaxV, excited for the upgrade from my S7+

  • Cancelled the QRevo order from Costco, and ordered MaxV for $1422.95 delivered, including 5 year gold service extras. (4.5% gift cards from AGL). For those not aware, with gold service you will receive $20 x 3 credit every year for the duration. Thanks OP.

    • is that with TGG? can the credit be used with TGG commercial, I found the detergent to be cheaper.

      • Sorry, I am not sure if you can use it with TGG commercial.

    • TGG gives $20 coupons with no min spend even without gold extras if you have the card added to digital wallet.

      • @siren215 what card will need to be added to digital wallet?

is this gold service works the same way as extended warranty?
