Details/title thanks to Clear:

Dreame have released a new sub-brand called Mova offering more budget friendly robot vacuums. This one is offering an impressive 7000Pa suction paired with an auto empty dock/charging station and a "VibroTurbo" mop that's able to scrub with pressure instead of dragging a wet cloth around.

Like others it has LiDAR navigation, smart obstacle avoidance, auto mop lifting for carpet, auto brush lifting, 5200mAh battery offering up to 260 minutes of run time, app control with settings, voice control, mapping etc and a side brush.

    Missed it. Rats

    • Cats! I win

Don’t know what I just bought, but got it for $400

Edit: I had it in cart and code applied, but placed order after it had expired :).

Same, then I had a coffee and decided my Xiaomi Roborock S5 still works perfectly fine and I don't need the auto empty dock, perfectly fine emptying it myself. So cancelled.

Best of luck to those lucky people who got it.

      • Hey mate,
I've been looking into a robot vac/mop for the house
Been pondering over the Xiaomi x20+.. different price range, but only seems to be able to get it from Kogan.
Did you get your Xiaomi from Kogan, or any other reputable distributors around?
Probably would have grabbed this instead purely on price, but I missed out. Back to square one.

        • +2

I got my S5 from Kogan in 2020. No issues. My friends did too, they had a successful warranty claim with them.

I don't like Kogan and haven't bought anything from them since, and they have a bad reputation on OzBargain.

  • Promo code expired 😭

Will this one scream obscenities at you?

  • Is this better performing than Lubluelu SL60D?

    • Battery will be better than the SL60D (5200mah vs 2600mah), but I find the Lubluelu to be more compact hence can go inside smaller area. my dreame D9 Max can’t go under one of the bed frames but my lubluelu can

    • Yes it's better than two

      Has mop rising function

      • +2

        No one uses the mop.

  • Bugger I missed this. Insane price for a Dreame with auto empty.

Though I do own and use 4 robovacs already 😅

    • +1

      4, whaat ..in same house?

      • 3 levels plus a granny shack 😜

        • Lmao I have 3 I just needed one more for the same reason =P

Actually I need 2 more now I think about it for full coverage until they can go down stairs I have 4 levels plus a granny flat

          • @Vyviel: A stair robot would be amazing. My old school robot vacuum before phone apps and lidar attempted it once. Just once.

            • @Clear: What vacuum was that? Even my first Roomba from 2013 had sensors to detect and immediately stop when it went over a cliff. Never went off.

              • +1

@ad62623: I should say my early Chinese vacuum. It was an iLife something from Gearbest

  • Damn missed out

  • Same

  • +1

Damn shouldn't have slept in needed this

  • Was able to get one but card hasn’t been charged yet. Have received order confirmation email from Amazon. 🤞

  • Jumping in here due to visibility, but anyone know why it's so hard to find a Dreame/Xiaomi stick vac atm? My V9 just died after MANY years, and looking to replace, but can't seem to find much anywhere, and definitely no deals.

Any other discount brands that do a good stick vac?

    • The ryobi stick vac is good if you already have the battery. Can vouch.

      • I had the opposite experience with the ryobi, some years ago now. Looked like a dust buster with a tube on it, maybe it's changed

        • +1

The old ones got very bad reviews when I was looking into it. Current one seems decent so far and I've had it a while now.

      • Plz, we're a OZITO family.

        • Sensible. Ozito to ryobi battery adapter is a thing though!

    • We are happy with Lubluelu stick vac

    • +1

Gearbite used to be the big player in that field. Now that they're broke we don't see them anymore.

      • I actually visited Gearbite the other day and it looks like a scam site these days. What happened there?

        • +1

When your sole income is low profit or loss leading deals on OzBargain it won't take long for you to go under.

          • @Clear: I feel partly to blame for their downfall (and my bargains!)

  • Looking to replace my viomi s9… Any good?

  • Managed to get one of these, but I just realised this is a single brush vac. If I'm not going to use the mop function, would a dual-brush Lubluelu SL60D Plus be a better option?

    • If you got it at the insane price I will buy from you

      • So, I assume this is better than the Lubluelu SL60D Plus?

        • +1

          yes bro

  • +1

Delivered! Nothing to compare it to but seems like a good first run. Bang for ya buck
    Thanks hamza
