@bobokingdom: nope $350 GC only on outright purchase. but yes with the 10% GC
@HardlyNormal: Does that apply to all sizes?
@parad0x: yes, higher storage, more gift card
Hi can you further clarify how is the 10% gc included in this deal if you are going on the $69 plan and not physically buying anything to warrant the GC?
Can you reference a T&C or something? I'll signup today if the 10% voucher is included however i can't see the local store honouring this.
@paymeback: Pretty sure he was referring to the 250GB, on a plan
@paymeback: we dont have anything referencing it but our head office has told us to do it, just call ur local mate
@HardlyNormal: Oh so, GC issued for the full 10% amount on a $0 plan?
@HardlyNormal: Literally just across the road lol, just rather have something to reference. Technically you would be purchasing the phone but if its $0 upfront i could see them saying no.
@paymeback: @paymeback and HO has decided in order to win over some biz from JB, to offer a little something more. $160/80GC = $80 to HN realistically
Just went to Wiley park Harvey and he said the 10%gc not stackable.
@thanq: @thanq stackable with what? Another GC offer? A $0 deal? Almost all freebies state "not available in conjunction with any other offer". No different to Telstra's terms, or any cash back website. Let logic prevail.
@thanq: Just purchased the 256gb 9 Pro and asked if about just paying the difference of $150 which he said was the deal. HN employee mentioned they are also doing the 10% GC which came to of $189 or so. At payment I assumed the GC was for the next purchase and has to be used within a month, but the person serving me rung it up so I didn't have to pay anything on top and walked away with $39 left on the GC.
FYI This was at Chadstone HN
@Hardly Normal l thanks for your interaction in this thread, it lead me to return my JB Pixel and head over to HN, and collect my Pixel, 10% GC for a total $0
@parad0x: Sorry meant with the 10% GC value on purchase over $250. I thought we could get the $69 contract + Pixel 9 pro and a $169 GC. But he said it didn't work that way.
Would you be able to share where you were able to get the deal so we can reference it?
Thanks
Hi Rep,
Could you help with GC?
I just got P9P on $69 plan this arvo but the HN store staff said that it is not part of the 10% GC deal.
I have the receipt and phone still unopened.
Thanks.
@Goku99: each stores are franchised so i have no authority on who’s doing it and now the deal’s pulled so no chance you get it :(
@HardlyNormal: that's a bummer but it already a good deal.
It is also interested to learn that each HN can interpret the promotion differently too.
@Goku99: the T&C state not in conjunction with any other offer, however our head office were pushing gift card with plan, anyone who didnt get the memo just assumed it doesnt stack.
@HardlyNormal: My local wouldn't do the 10% GC but another store done some more research and gave me the GC plus a free genuine case so pretty stoked.
@paymeback: hell yeah!
Yeh so like $500 off if you cough up 1800…. Not the worst deal, much better than a poke in the eye, but worse than a knock to the funny bone!!
I think you should update the deal, this make it more interesting now that JB hifi don't give out $350 GC anymore.
NVM, wrong threadd
@HardlyNormal Any chance of this 10% GC promo next weekend again? Missed it as I was away on a trip
nope, wont happen till boxing day probably
Uses samsung fab and ufs 3 vs 4 in s24
Avoid like the plague
@HarveyNorman is this deal still ongoing, cannot see it advertised on HN websaite?
cheers
Got it today with the gift card for $169, easy (Broadway)
Signed up to this 69 plan last week and asked if we could pay the extra and upsize to the 256GB (to get the rose quartz), storeperson put it through without any issue, after checking with his manager.
Now just have to wait for those to come into stock…
For those cancelling the plan after 4 months to get the phone cheap, what are you then switching to?
I'm finishing an Optus 24 month deal this month (in-store plan for the P7P). What's the easiest way to port out, and how long do I need to port out for?
This is just an assumption but I would say you could just port to a $2 boost Sim card. Wait for it to be active in the boost app then apply for the Harvey Norman deal. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong as I've never had to port out and back into the same carrier for a deal.
@bobokingdom: Not opening my JB piece or junk until I get this one confirmed… I might just walk down
