        the blacks are super black. 144 htz and close to stock google TV. Also has TCL channels so unlimited shoes such as some news channels, mythbusters, pawnstars etc

    Is this true 144Hz or some 'made up virtual' spec? Seek to use it for watching sports and gaming.

      My even cheaper TCL 65P745 is genuinely 120hz refresh at 1080 and 1440p, but only 60 at 4k. Would be fairly confident in saying this is genuinely a 4k/144hz panel.

    How is the screen glare on this one? Seek to mount it in a room with sunlight next to a window (albeit sun does not directly shine into window).

    Got this for my parents the other week. Great display for movies and sports. Blacks are great, close to my borthers LG OLED, and vivid bright colours. I like the control too, but is not as premium feeling as my LG from about 6 years ago, thats the only negative i have on this.

      Yes, control is shit, clicky and too tall. LG remote is much better. I wished I could connect my old LG to the Google tv but it is not compatible…

          Legit question, and I’m wondering this too.

          I’ve read that some tcl does let Apple TV control the input though hdmi so you won’t be able to turn the tv on and off from the Apple TV remote.
