  • Wireless1 still doesn't ship to some of the postcodes in VIC using Amazon( :| )

  • Having used the v2 pro and currently using this mouse, I much prefer the v2 pro. The DPI changing buttons on the end of the mouse CAN get a bit annoying if you accidentally click them, especially during an intense gaming session. The main downside to the V2 pro was charging via micro USB instead of USB C, which in 2024 is ridiculous. Yes, you can get v3 which is USB C, but v2 pro being micro usb was such a planned downgrade so that had extra improvements for their next model.

    • The docking station is USB-C if that helps?

    • I got both on a good Amazon sale earlier this year and kept the V2 Pro, yeah. I can't remember why now.

    • Couldn’t you just remap the buttons?

  • Great mouse, been using mine for 2 years now, best pro compared to the v2 pro is that it takes AAA and AA batteries which allows for never having to rely on a cord when charging. All mice which use cords to charge aren't true wireless mice, more gaming mice need the option for instantly replacing the battery with ease. I use 1 AA battery and it lasts me about 1-2 weeks, I recommending buying some Eneloops or some other AA rechargeable battery.

Biggest con for me is the downloading of Razer files onto my computer, then asking if I want to install the software, if I say no it doesn't install but the files still remain on my computer which I find invasive. Why not simply provide me with a link to where I can download the files instead? Why do you have to download the files behind my back and I need to use another program to search for them and remove them?

I'll be buying another one though, there isn't another mouse like it functionally with the great shape Razer has for their mice. If one does come around or already exists from another brand I'm more than happy for someone to let me know.

    • +1

Hey, on the bright side despite the unwanted files, Razer probably isn't using the software to run background crypto mining algorithms like they did in the past.

  • Great mouse, all plastic, so won't go gross like some logitech mice

  • Matching some of the PC retailers by the looks. Computer Alliance, Mwave…

  • I find it sometimes has trouble reconnecting when it goes to sleep. Sometimes I gotta move it intensely, give it a bang and other times open the battery cover and close it. Not often but enough to annoy me. I could be the usb switch I have it on.
