100

After missing the Gleame deal from last week I was looking for a hair dryer and saw this 50% off on JB hifi , everywhere else seems to be around $300-400

Saw some youtube reviews about it and it seems really good . Might buy one

Same specs as this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/872681 for $91

Specs not too different from the Gleam either, just slight faster wind speed.

If Amazon is preferred over Kogan (ie for warranty, plus looks like the Estelle is $109 now) the Gleam regularly drops to $99, looking at cx3 probably due for another drop soon enough.

    • Personally I like Dreame brand after using their hard floor washer. The one you posted looks more like a dyson

  • The Glory appears to be a 'upgraded' version of the Gleam.

Looks like the AU Model only comes with the Smoothing Nozzle attachment.

Overseas model also included the Essence Nozzle.

    • Wasn't sure what that was but I see now it adds scent to your hair drying.

Looks like it's sold optionally with it from Dreame

      • You might be right. I just did a quick Google and all the reviews/comparison included it.

        • Maybe useful, maybe not.. though would have to keep buying the essence bombs for it.

Apparently not just a scent, but disperses oils too to improve elasticity by 37.1%, moisture by 19.5%, smoothness by 136.2% and 62% shinier hair. And that's backed by Chinese Academy of Sciences (Report no. WCK22-50-600) :D

Is this one noticeably better than the Dreame Gleam model, which was on sale for half the price the other day and will be likely on sale again on Black Friday or before that?

    • Apparently the Gleam gas 200 million negative ions and this one has 300 million negative ions (whatever that means)

      • Yeah got the same info from some reviews, but I’ve no ideas about those “negative ions” either. The only thing I observed from the Gleam, compared to a traditional one, is it’s quieter while seems to be just as effective.

      • I just assumed one had 50% more marketing speak than the other :D

Very sad on my behalf… was scanning down the page quickly & I thought I read " Glory Hole" & not " Glory High"

    • Bahahahahaahha
