Probably because component cables are outdated now it's all HDMI. Clearing out old stock that people don't buy any more.

    • Still a bargain for $1. I'd buy one or two if I was close to this store. Never know when it might come in handy.

…Or maybe I'm just an OB whore who buys too many $1 bargains I don't need. Either way +1 from me :D

  • wish I saw the cable this morning, bought the WD Live TV Streaming there this morning. The component cable is even good for normal AV cable.

  • Very cheap but its tough to find a use for these cables now.
If you have a device that uses Component you would of surely bought the cables long ago.

These are useful if your TV doesnt have many HDMI inputs. I still use them for the DVD player in the spare bedroom.

Component cables with HD video signal can help to bypass copyright protection in certain circumstances.

  • All out at Officeworks Chadstone.

  • Officeworks @ Hoxton Park had theses for a long time down from $6 then $3. You need another 2x RCA for audio. Still a good bargain
