Update: eBay now shows the $10 price, but lots of people & myself get "An error has occurred. Please try again later" message after clicking "Pay now to join eBay Plus"….

Apparently this has been active since October 7 according to the terms, but there was a technical issue

          but knowing eBay have offered the subscription at $10, many will never justify paying full price for it.

          I spoke to eBay chat and literally said to them "I know you sell it at $10 so I will buy it at that price and not a cent more" but they weren't interested so instead I stopped shopping at eBay.

        Beware of those coupons, as they most likely require minimum spend, or cannot used in combination with discount codes, or only work for plus items

          And many people don't realise it has to be spent in 1 transaction! You cant use part of it and save for later! Really sneaky by eBay…

    Think I got myself blocked from eBay Plus as I can proceed on any plan. Last year I followed a sign up from here to sign up and get a vochure back, even though the form let me through they never sent the vouchers. Complained and they said since I didn’t get the email I was not eligible for the voucher. Demanded they cancel and refund me since I hadn’t used it. They refused the refund but ‘cancelled’ the account.. which still had a 12 month end date on it… that’s been done a few months now I think. Now I can’t buy it at all it seems (I would for $10), do they block access. Or is it something else?.

            @G-rig: the $5 voucher used to have no minimum spend, then $15 now I think it's $35 or $50. Only worth it when you are eyeing for one of the black Friday deals

    It's still "suffering technical issues" and charging me $49 - I did get the email. They have not responded in a week. Appalling service.

      Same :( eBay now have stopped showing the $10 promotion altogether this morning for everyone… No one ended up subscribing despite them emailing AND actually updating the website to advertise the offer… really sorry to have posted this and wasted peoples time.

    For shits & giggles, I tried live chat a second time and they doubled down that the $10 offer is a thing & that the inability to pay for it, is a global issue that will be rectified "soon". Not holding my breath.

          I kept a tab open and it kept showing $49 even 5 mins ago, I went through into the price options again and saw the $10 promo, something about summer…

              There was no voucher & is not a word I used… maybe re-read it or something and the dollar sign does not go after the amount

    I just got a random email from eBay. $10 off, no minimum spend for the “inconvenience” caused by this deal. So my eBay plus membership is effectively free. That’s a win.
