This is actually a great deal with the extra batteries which you will need, especially if you're doing a lot of angle grinding/cutting or if you buy the recip saw down the track.

    What kit is it?

  • Nice deal

  • Bosch Blue are still the only batteries I've had fail on me. Actually had 2 die in the space of a weekend. Such expensive fail.

    • Should be 6 year warranty on the batteries as long as you register them with Bosch

  • I'm still waiting on the promotion batteries to arrive from the last time Sydney Tools had the sale, about 2 months ago. Will wait a little longer, before raising an issue.

    • Also still waiting, I think the Sydney tools sale gave them a bit of a backlog maybe, as prior to that all my redemptions where only 2-3 weeks if that.

Glad it’s not just me as was also trying to decide on when to email them

    • My 2 battery from the Jul-Sept redemption came 7 weeks after submitting the form. Bought from Bunnings.

    • I received mine early morning.

  • A friend told me recently that you can get converters to use power tool batteries (such as this one) with Dyson handheld vacuums—pretty cool way to get more use out of those batteries!

    • My old Dyson still working well was about to be thrown away because they don’t make its batteries anymore. A Dyson adapter that can take cheap Ozito batteries became a game changer. Now my old Dyson is better than it was originally, with swapping cheap Ozito batteries.

  • The problem I have with Bosch, their power tools batteries are different to the battery on my vacuum and my small chain saw. So this is a big put off for me.

  • Thanks OP, just got myself a set.

Redemption is quick. Invoice comes in an email and via www.boschbluecrew.com.au, the 2 free batteries will come straight at home:

  • Buy a battery adaptor and make batteries interchangeable with other tools too and vice versa. I have a 9amp/hr Millwalke on a Makita blower and it’s amazing, way better than the pissy 2a/hr the tool included
