Loud music is not good for ears

    • +8

There is a knob on that thing to turn the volume down.

      • Then no point in spending so much on a big speaker

        • A big sound doesn't have to be a loud sound. Speakers used in cinemas are capable of blowing out your ears, but they don't because it would be bad for business.

          • @Lps: Still pretty loud in cinemas

            • @U30004: Agreed, too loud at times. If it hurts your ears then the audio person should be fired - immediately

              • @Lps: Absolutely. Better would be to shut the place down

    • My neighbours don't seem to get that memo. I mean sure party but your neighbours down the street dont need to hear it.

these sound terrible but you're not really paying for crystal clear mids. they do make a lot of noise so good for a house party and/or annoying your neighbours

I guess its called a partybox rather than an audiophile box for a reason.

    • +1

Disagree totally. Own two of them for camping and parties and also consider myself an audiophile. Yes has a V type sound signature in alignment with it being called a 'party box' can eq it out if you're a boomer who likes classical etc

  • Pre-req to buying this is you must carry it on trains blasting Kerser.

  • When you order through commercial, can you pick up in store?
