Can you give some reference to this $10 voucher pls?

Update - Never mind. Got the details form above link's.

      • +2

There's some way to sign up for the newsletter, might be a first time popup or something on the website, then they sent it to you. Then you can use the voucher on any account, so you can still use onepass for free delivery.

    • Thank you, purchased!

They closed all the Targets near me. Will cost me $10 and a lot of time to get to one.

    • Doesn't work as per the other thread.
Not sure I'd enjoy the party series anyway.

    • Ive tried two emails and no welcome voucher yet…

Buy two copies of Lord of the Fallen or Way of the Hunter from JB's 2 for $30, trade to eb to get Mario Party. $30 that way

    • +2

Dat izz da way of de oz bar gainzz

    • If you’re going to do this, I would do it quickly before they change the trade in value of those games to $9

      • +6

        They already did.

Just called them and they're so aware, the cashier said "These two were part of the 2 for $30 JB deal and a few bad eggs ruined it by trading them en masse".

        • ‘ruined it’

Not for the peeps who worked their plan weeks of not months advance when eb advertised the offer.

It’s not the end of the world, there will be more of these trade deals and ‘cheap games for them’ strategy

        • Can confirm, happened to me as well and said the same thing about JB

        • I've been doing it for the last year with Dying Light 2, every 2 for deal. I've traded in about 15-20 copies of it over the year. They finally dropped it down to $9, so these were the next two. There's always one or two in the jb hifi deal that gets added you can find.

        • Lord of the Fallen funnily enough was $20 trade value, so you could spend $30 at Jb, and get $40 trade value (more with eb world levels). Worked out to be $30 at jb to get $52 of trade value at eb with bonuses.

        • Are you saying the party is over ?

        • Damn, but figured that would be the case

        • I did Way of the Hunter yesterday 18th and it was still accepted and Lord of the fallen preowned price is way higher than Way of the hunter ? Seems they are only warning you or only that particular store not accepting it ?

        • I successfully did this today 19/10 with Metro Exodus and Lords of the Fallen PS5 from JB's 2 for $30 deal. Called the EB store beforehand to check, read out the first two games on JB's 2 for $30 page and she said yep they're both eligible. (Obviously didn't mention anything about the JB deal to the EB worker).

          • @mickop: Confirm, trading 2x Lords of the Fallen worked today 🙂

Thanks for all those who contributed

            • @spackbace: When u guys traded in, did u unwrap to pretend "second hand" or just hand in brand new to eb?

    • Is there a min level needed at EB games for this?

      • No membership required
        No minimum level required

        Just your ID for verification

    • Is it only for mario party or can you do it for other games? If not, does anyone know what the trade values for some of the 2 for 30 games are?

      • It's generally available for other games on pre-order or newly released, best to check their website by individually searching the game you want.

For eligible games, their trade-in value has to be worth $10 or more (each). The only real way to know is to call them and ask.

        • In most cases a decent-ish rule of thumb is 1/3 of the preowned value they sell for. Not always exact, but most games that have a preowned sale value of $34+ will be over $10. The $28 games are usually either 9 or 10. Not exact but correct maybe 80% of the time

    • Traded in a couple of ps5 games (2 copies of Hades) for Jamboree at EB today, and the girl said it’s likely going to end in a couple of days as the game is released

    • Jamboree $79.95 at EB..

  • I just did the trade in with EB Games yesterday. I had a couple of physical games the kids no longer played (lego Harry Potter - bought the digital for $10 instead, and Mario Sonic Olympics). So long as they are over $10 worth of trade in value you get Mario Party Jamboree for free. I was happy with that.

    • +2

To add to the "eligible games list" I successfully traded in Metro Exodus and Wreckfest for PS5

      • I'm almost certain Exodus is less than $10 base trade..
Maybe the person that served you included your EB World bonus?
        I could be wrong though?

        • +2

I believe it traded in for $14 before the EB world bonus.
I called them in advance and they said both games were eligible for the trade in deal.

    • Can also confirm Metro Exodus is eligible. Grabbed 2 copies at my local JB this afternoon, then walked straight across the road to EB and traded them for Mario Party. Wasn’t sure if EB would accept 2 copies of the same game, but my EB did. YMMV.

      • Base trade for Metro Exodus and Way of the Hunter is now $8 (26/10), so scrap those two titles off the eligible list.

Do people really need three different Mario Party games ? My super star is still under 10 hours playtime after all these years.

    • +3

      Yes.

    • people? yes, you? no

    • Do you need it? No
      Do you want it? Yes

    • thats why you trade in your old ones for the new

    • You must be fun at Mario Parties.
