The $10 off coupon for newsletter sign up makes this even more appealing.

    • What were the steps for this again? It doesn’t just appear when browsing the homepage anonymously

    • Got the "$10 off coupon for newsletter sign up" in my email but when at the checkout I get "Your basket doesn't meet the conditions for the promo code." Anyone else with the same problem?

      • Update: "Apologies but gaming items are excluded for this, sorry."

        • They might've caught on. I used it this morning without any issue. Havent had a shipping notice yet, though.

        • +1

Worked for me just now, entering the promo code that I got via email after signing up. Might be worth trying again.

        • +1

I bought it using this code, I’d try again

      • +1

Just bought the game - the $10 coupon definitely works

  • hell yeah can't wait

  • looks like you cant pre-order this on Target before launch day? Will the price and product be live on the online store at midnight 17th?

    • +2

Yep, at some point tomorrow. Target big on launch day prices atm. A few more huge ones coming.

  • Not bad!

Great price! Can't wait to grab this and jump into the frantic, 4-player, relationship-ending co-op!

    • +6

Your three wives will love it!

      • I know that mines do

  • Listing been removed? Link not working. Edit: don't mind me, it's later today…

  • +1

Went with Amazon price guarantee for a few extra bucks

    • I’ve done this too - would they normally match in this type of scenario?

      • Not sure, but if I get a target copy with the extra $10 off I'll just cancel my Amazon order since it hasn't been sent yet.

  • +2

You can trade in 2 games (PS5, xbsx or switch ) for it at Ebgames.

    • +4

Yep, went down this route and effectively paid $30 (took advantage of JB 2 for $30 deals)

      • Hi, is that still possible to do with JB, and may I please ask which 2 tradeable games you purchased for this deal?

        • +4

I would think so, but best to double check trade values by dropping into your local EB or over the phone. I did the trade last week before their sale ended, so trade values might have changed by then.

I used Lords of the Fallen and Metro Exodus on PS5. I'm sure that others would work from that list of 2 for $30 titles.

          • @jjsu: Thanks! Used the same games you mentioned for trade in today!

          • @jjsu: Thanks heaps for this. Did exactly the same and used my $10 jb voucher, effectively getting the game for $20. Bargain.

        • +3

For those wondering, I did the same thing about 2 weeks ago for Echoes of Wisdom and Jamboree and I got Lords of the Fallen, 2x Immortals of Aveum and Way of the Hunter all for PS5 from the JB Hi Fi 2 for $30 deal

          • @ThatNintendoKid: Something to note for anyone interested in the topic is that EB supposedly has a limit of 2 copies of the same game for such trade deals. No clue if its actually the case (heard about it in the OzB forums, I think) because I couldn't find any mention in their T&Cs, but just be wary before you go wild and buy out the entire 2 for $30 section lol

            • @jjsu: You can just go different days/different EBs. You dont even have to get 2 for $30 games, buying 2 x $25 games will still be cheaper than the other retailers. Most 2 for $30 have been cleaned out so getting harder to find them

            • @jjsu: Yeah thats why i just kept the receipt from jb hi fi so i could just straight return them if i needed but you could also just go to different stores like the other comment

            • @jjsu: That’s odd. The eb games around here has no such limitation.

I’ve traded multiple copies of the same game in one go (like 6x copies of the same game) in recent times without any question asked.

      • +1

Hey which games did you buy and trade in?

      • same with others, would really like to know what games did you get for the trade in? thanks!

      • Hi, Is there a list of trade-in able games online or do we need to ask for the list instore? Thanks

    • Thanks for the tip! I was about to list a couple on marketplace for $20 each, so this was a much better deal.

Also didn’t realise that your level adds a bonus on top of this trade deal. So as a level 3 I traded and got the game for free, then got a $10 voucher back on top. Cracking result.

And the game is very fun so far, loving the new maps!

      • +1

The ebworld doesn't go on top of the deal. That was a staff mistake for sure 😃

        • Well then I like it :p I suppose there’s a chance the games’ trade value was higher than Mario Party but that would surprise me.

  • any good? never tried the Mario party games

    • Game hasnt been released yet.

Played a fair bit of Superstars and it was good fun, but only if you had a couple of friends over. At least Jamboree will have a single player mode too

    • +1

Reviews are suggesting it's the best entry in the series in a long time.

    • its a party game. fun with a group of friends. even better when you're 8 years old

      • or drunk :D

  • +1

Does JB price match/beat Target? Could use the $10 voucher then instead of signing up to newsletter…

    • +1

      should price match no problem

    • +1

Yes, JB price matches Target. I've done it before for some switch games to save $5 on launch games

    • +1

yeah, they were happy to do it

  • +1

I’ve played through modded switch, I think it’s the best in the series , lots to do , daily challenges for stars .

    • -1

thought can't mod due to all the online locks?

  • The link just takes me to the Target homepage, and I can't find it by search - IS it down?

e: Or page only opens up tomorrow?

    • +1

Its not live yet on the Target website

    • It's live now and the deal link has been updated.

  • I have super mario party but not superstars, so just get this Jamboree and skip superstars as I've heard this is a complete game, is that true?

  • -5

As if people are still paying for switch games

    • +1

It has online, plus these games don't lose value. I can sell 1 game from my 3DS collection for x3-x8 its value on eBay! Win-win.

  • +1

    Awesome, $54 with newsletter coupon!

    • +1

How did you get voucher I have tried a few times get no email or anything

      • +1

I just put my email in and 5 minutes later received the voucher in an email. Claimed it for this game, also $54

        Nice

      • +1

Has anyone had any luck with gettuy the newsletter coupon?
I keep getting an error code, tried incognito and different browsers, and disabling adblock.

        • +2

I had a similar issue this morning, wasn't getting the email, then I realised I had used that email to get $10 off a switch game some time back. Used another email and the voucher came through within a few min.
          Maybe try with another email?
I also accessed the main website and scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page (on mobile) and entered email into the "Newsletter Signup" section there. The link from above comment was erroring for me too.

  • Price matched it at JB, traded in Mario Party Superstars (Level IV EB World card) Got around $33 for it, only had to pay $31, noice.
