Great deal for 2 smart watches.

Can anyone comment if these Pixel watches are good for high school kids? My son will be in Grade 7 next year & I've been considering a smart watch with LTE for him for high school. I don't want him taking a phone to school just yet but want to be able to contact him on a smart watch if I need to. Appreciate any feedback

  Telstra is the only provider that works with the Pixel Watch 2, and it needs to be connected to an existing Telstra plan that shares the number with the watch.
