It'd be unethical, but I don't think the terms are anyones copyright, nor legally binding (the blue stamp is; but not just the term afaik).
Even if the word Halal was legally enforcable (I don't know); odds are the acronym that to most just means meat+chips+sauce, isn't.
The H could stand for anything. Happy? Hungry? Heavenly? Haram?
What is HSP?
The NeNe HSP contains chips, chicken strips and marinated crispy chicken skin drizzled in your choice of sauce: Freaking Hot & Ranch/ Tomato & Mustard
Nene chicken is Halal, at least in the ACT.
NeNe outlets are not halal certified. However, the chicken that is sourced comes from a halal certified supplier and all of our stores have that certificate. Furthermore, none of the sauces, marinades, bastings or preparations contain any alcohol whatsoever.
