I can confirm that when I looked at this on JB's website last week the price was $1245, so this deal is in fact $249 less.

Curious if you looked into the c855 at all? I can't decide if it's worth the extra ~$600
After checking out the 655, 755, and 855 models in store, I found the 755 to be the sweet spot for me.
Especially as at $1,490 it was $800 to $1,000 less compared to the cheapest 75" 855 model. Thanks for that. I might have to in store and have a look, although I'm leaning toward 855 as I have a very bright room
Bing Lee eBay store $946: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/166717889798
Use coupon code SNSM11, $0 C&C, $40 delivered (check area).
For those after the 50" c755 it's down to $875 at HN and $876 at JB Hi-Fi. TGG as always seems to be oos.
got the C755 65 inch for the new home, very nice TV played a few games in 4K HDR on the PS5 looks fantastic. The android TV interface is surprisingly quite snappy it made my amazon fire tv dongle redundant, i did make sure i turned on apps only mode on so that it stops throwing ads at me.
Just to add - Woolies (and coles next week) has the 10% additional value on certain gift cards, or 10% less (next week in coles) - So really you could get this for only $900 :)
I'm looking at the C855 as that's now gone down significantly as well. Last week the 65 inch was $2195 at JB Hi-Fi etc, today it's $1756. Now Costco has gotten in on the drop at $1599. My trigger finger is getting itchy.
But I have to imagine for both retailers that Black Friday has to either match this price, or go down even a bit further right? Am I crazy to wait 5 weeks to make sure I get the best deal, or do I jump on this now?
My conundrum too!
Really good tv! Don't even bother with apple tv anymore. Bigger is better though - glad I got the 75 inch
Got C755 50 inch version a couple of months ago. Very disappointed with the picture quality after OLED TV experience. Everything looks so over brightened. Blacks are really bad. The view angles are very limited, colours fade. It actually feels like a cheap edge lit panel, not even mini-LED. Anyways, the difference between this and for example, LG OLED is huge. I regret that I did not pay extra for OLED. The price difference totally worth it.
Unboxed 65c755 last night. It's not OLED but it's certainly not cheap edge lit quality. If you were in the market at 2.5x the price for 48", why not get that?
To each their own opinion. In my case, I have a comparison with two other LG TVs in my house, one 83" C3 OLED, another 42" edgelit LED that I purchased several years ago. That 42" LED picture quality is better than this C755 50" mini-led. Not mentioning 83" OLED which is like from another galaxy compared to TCL.
I could have purchased OLED for around extra $600. Just decided to save money and to try Mini-LED tech to see if it has gone up close to OLED like many people say. Unfortunately, it is not even close.
Got a price beat offer through Goodguys, got $10 off down to $985, wouldn't know how to replicate.
All you need to do to replicate the price beat is visit the site, select the product you're look for and then press the Price Check button. It automatically gives you better a price.
Sometimes it's worth doing your own research and going to the store or calling them up to price match.
Whats better? OLED, QLED or this mini LED?
Oled
Why? How so?
Picked this up last night for my dad from JB HiFi. They price matched to $945 from Appliance Central.
Great TV, pretty responsive UI and love that can side load any app without having to get another dongle (fire tv/google tv chromecast)
Showing $1195 now on JB
Got the 75" from Bing Lee the other day for $1492.00, delivered.
Very Happy with it so far (also, all "green ticks" on the Xbox Series X).
