  • I could only get it down to $209.99, the other code did not work.

    • Not anymore. $320 now.

      • The white color one have have a promotion of 34% discount. which brings it down to $219 for me.

  • Did someone buy all 6?

    • +1

Not possible, lightning deal is limited to one per Amazon account unless someone had all 6 accounts ready to go

      • Good point taken.

Now I wonder how many items were on lightning deal. One or two?

      • Would not put it past someone buying all 6 and flipping 5 of them for a $50-100 profit

  • +1

Leave some for the rest of us.

Bummer, I would have bought a couple!

  • Was quick

  • Good price

  • Missed out, I saw a 5% off from $209 this afternoon.

  • I am not bitter that i didn't get one ok maybe 10% bitter but I feel the hospital visit would make me more angry because I triped over the bloody thing.

  • Bloody hell… I thought buying it at $190 was a steal. This deal thought shortlived was pretty damn good

  • Wondering how many sold at that price.

  • Its been a while since one of these.

    Good stuff

    Missed it!

  • Will this be ok for laminated floors?

  • Anyone used it?

    • +1

Had ours for over 12 months now & think its awsome,Have it set to come out every Monday Wednesday & Friday while we are at work.Just have to make sure any phone charging cables are off the floor or it will eat them πŸ˜‰

    • +2

I lot of people here seem to rate them pretty highly but honestly my experience over the last 7 or 8 months has only been OK. It's fine for what it is and great value for the money, but comparing it to more expensive devices is crazy.

Main complaints are the tiny bin size, it maybe finds its dock about 50% of the time, has forgotten its mapping on multiple occasions and the mopping is pretty average at best. As a minor thing, when you turn it on it says "Power Ohh Enn" instead of "Power On", which is a pretty typical example of the software quality for this thing πŸ˜„

As a budget robot vacuum its great and at this price its a steal, but just don't go into it thinking you're getting the equivalent of a $1000 vacuum because its a long way off that.

      • +2

You can buy larger dust bin.

        Battery life is average.

Pro tip save the map in settings.

        To have back up.

Haven't had issues with finding dock yet. But getting some movement might need to stick it

        • +1

If you buy the larger dustbin you lose the water tank though. I ended up getting the dock with the auto empty bin in it, which is nice, but it cost almost as much as the vacuum itself.

I've saved the map in the settings, which has worked for a while, but twice now I've gone in and the previously saved maps are simply gone. Guessing it may have happened in a firmware update, but not sure.

I've got the dock stuck down to the floor, but that's not really the problem. I've watched it trying to return to the dock and sometimes it simply goes straight past it and searches the whole room, keeps doing that until it runs out of battery. Other times it works perfectly first go πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Like I said, for the price its a solid unit. I just feel like the people here saying it's as good as more expensive units haven't really tried the more expensive units

          • @noisymime: Is it the mop function, we need to manually set which area with or without carpet, right? It won't auto detect it?

            • @superforever: Actually that's one thing that does work really well, it will detect whether its on a hard floor or carpet and turn off the mopping accordingly.

              • @noisymime:

that's one thing that does work really well,

Thanks, let me try never use the mop function, will it cause the carpet a bit wet?

Will it vacuum it first before mop? So I don't need to tell on the map which area is carpet?

                • @superforever: Sometimes the very edge of the carpet will get a little damp until it detects it, but I've never found it to be a problem.

I always do separate vacuum and mopping cycles. I think it does still vacuum at the same time as mopping, but it always seemed to leave a lot more dust that way.

                  • @noisymime: Thanks a lot, I should try it next time.

Missed out this deal, I should have bought another one for upstairs.

                  • @noisymime: I tried vacuum cycle first and mop only next, seem it still try to go through the carpet area, even didn't mop and wet it but a bit waste of time.

I think there is an "mop forbid" option in the map, may try next time.

          • +2

@noisymime: Mine will find the dock but will just keep trying to back up into it and never charge. Replaced the dock but still having the same issue. Love having to connect the network everytime the battery dies too, which is about every second day. Absolute rubbish vacuum

            • @KILLER5196: Yep, I'd agree with both of those as well. I'd forgotten the network one, but that's a real PITA also.

            • @KILLER5196:

Mine will find the dock but will just keep trying to back up into it and never charge. Replaced the dock but still having the same issue.

Did you put the dock too close to corner, something like that?

        • Careful with these models. I've had mine for a few months with the dust collecting docking station and always have this issue.

I've contacted lubluelu several times on eBay. First they did a firmware upgrade. Didn't work and they told me to just restart it. Happens every other day. I've contacted them again and will see what the outcome is.

    Missed it!

I just bought the upgraded version SL68 for about $230 from Amazon this week.

Its so cool, our wood floors have never been so goddamn clean and shiny lol.

I mean obviously we vacuumed and mopped regularly, but to have it done daily automatically is a wild quality of life upgrade.

Robovac's rock! And i dont see why you need to fork out $1000-2000 for one either..

    Cheers!

    • You use it to mop?

  • +9

Temu have it for $163. If bought via shopback plus new sign ups get $25 off as well as 46% cashback. Comes to around $80. Only white available.

The sl68 mentioned above is $157 but it's a different model. Comes in under $80 with shopback deal.

  • +2

I got my SL60D on the $118 Temu deal last week and have been absolutely blown away by how good it is. Perfectly mapped out the whole house and the automation is perfect. I'm seriously amazed at what my money got me here and can't imagine what the $2k devices are like. Now I'm just absolutely hanging out for a deal on the auto empty station.

  • I'm still rocking an old school "gen 1" Xiaomi robo vac.
How do these other cheapies compare?

    • I have a dreame F9 and got my parents this one with the auto dock.
The Lubluelu is way smarter (mapping) but is camera va laser and sucks way harder. and avoids obstacles way better. Also much faster to go high suction mode on carpets.

    • +1

The gen ones dont have the ability to create rooms and block off no go zones from memory? And are limited to high high rugs can be before they get stuck.

The no go zones which came in the models after (s50) are a big deal if you have doorways, thicker rugs, plants, cables etc where the vacuum commonly get stuck.

  • wow, cheap.
Will need to keep my eyes open for more of these budget vac deals.

    • This deal only last a few mins.

  • Are these the ones that got hacked and allowed people to be watched from inside their homes?

  • Mine arrived today and seriously for the price this thing is incredible. The detail to which it mapped the house and completeness when vacuuming is unreal. The dust box was totally full and the house was already clean so obviously was cleaning pretty deep in the carpet with the rotating brush. The side brushes also ensure that the corners all got swept. Haven't tried the mopping yet but will give it a god tomorrow.

  • Careful with these models. I've had mine for a few months with the dust collecting docking station and always have this issue.
