        We must warn the others.

They are good especially for the toddler bed conversion. My two eldest used the same one. But my wife and I broke it, while making 3 and 4.

      • +1

Well, that explains the second hand one that I saw with split side rails.

Thought a baby goat was easy to look after.

someone once told me that advice, i took it seriously and one day when im 40 my parents asked me why i dont have kids and i told them that because someone told me not too. they got angry and forced me to get kids

      • how exactly did they force u to have the kids?

      • username checks out.

      • Noone can tell you what to do. And using that answer is a bad one to begin with

    • +1

The trying is the best part of it.

    • Mine is due in two months - what do I do now!?

Ctrl z ? :D just be the best parent you can be and be patient

    • Any deals on condoms? ;)

I have this exact cot, picked it up off marketplace for free. My advice with all baby stuff, look at marketplace/gumtree as most of the stuff you get will only be used for a tiny amount of time and the stuff available for free is virtually new.

    • +1

Care to hand it our way after you’re done with it?

    • +3

but we used our Boori cot almost 4 years with our son and another 4.5 years with our daughter. That’s not exactly a tiny amount 😇

    • +1

definitely. I saw this video and thought it's no brainer to get most things second hand here in aus. There are a few things I wouldn't get second hand though…

    • On the flipside, we have one of these that is now over 9 years old and has been through 3 kids. Some of the stuff off marketplace will be well used!

Upon saying that, it is obviously a decent bed to still be going after all that time with nothing other than new sheets.

Great price. These used to sell for $800+ new.

Good quality cots and typically considered one of the premium baby furniture brands

    • +1

They aren't that great, very soft wood. We had to do some repairs on ours.

    • +2

      I wouldn't call this premium 😅

  • I had a Boori for my son, bought for 450+ brand new on sale, and 5 years later sold for 400 in private market. It is an excellent cot.

Given this is on sale, you maybe able to make profit if it is kept well.

    • on fb market place its around Free to $300 range depending on condition etc. I bought one anyway because CBB picking it up and may be missing parts cleaning etc.

  • Dang Barley (White) OOS already :(

    • And a day later both are out of stock. Mind-blowing!

Would have brought it if it had dropside ! Anyone aware of deals on dropside boori cots ?

It cracks me up…all these babies and toddlers out there, who have seen this post on ozbargain..

And they're saying to mum/ dad..

"I really want a Boori cot!" .. Lol

Edit…sorry. it's a "boori waratah jasmine sleigh" cot. Much better.

  • This is a good price although these cots are over rated. The wood is crazy soft, ours broke and I had to repair it.

  • it looks like it cant be delivered to WA :(

  • Thanks OP, was going to get the white colour but bought the almond colour instead (hopefully it won't fade!)

  • Don have kids just coz this cot is on sale. Trust me, this is a bait.

If you don't have children yet: this is not a bargain. Children are expensive.

If you have children or are expecting: good price.

  • I have had this though 4 skids, still good and converts nicely into a small bed, once they are old enough.

    • 4 skids in the same year?

      • Over 10 years

Australia fertility rates are at record lows at 1.5kids per women so maybe they are clearing excess stock ahead of lean times ahead of the baby goods market
