Im going to buy this to restart my Nuclear Reactor

      • Hope it works. It’s only giving off 3.6 roentgen - not great, not terrible.

260w charging station $90 after coupon with wireless charge.
It was $87 during PDay as I recorded.

Had one, it broke after ~6 months. Amazon wouldn't assist with warranty and there's no real manufacturer to contact.

Worked great for those 6 months though, but after that the 140w port and 2 USB-A ports stopped working randomly.

Edit: Had specifically this one https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0C6R125H5/

It did what it said it does - the 140w charged my 100w laptop at 100w, the 2 ports both charged at 100w or 65w if two things plugged in. etc.

Please check your rights under Australian consumer law, they (Amazon) should be working with you for a replacement for a broken item under 6mo.

        • I'm aware of my rights under Consumer law, but Amazon support wasn't budging and what am I going to do - take it to small claims? Contact 30 times and waste hours on it?

    • It looks like it's used in phone repair shops….

  • is this the final boss of USB chargers?

    • +1

      no arbg, so not final

    • Definitely No!!!

But for PD 3.1 this considering as phase 1 of final boss as single port pumping out 140w, phase 2, 180w and final phase 240w.

  • Ngl, they look good. Functional bedside clock replacement. I wish they would make a 100w for ~$100-. I'd buy that

  • Coupon also works with this:
Anker Prime 27,650mAh Power Bank (250W) (Airline approved) - $254.96 after 15% off (RRP $299.95) with free gift worth $59.95

"Another thing that's crazy about this power bank which I haven't seen this in any other power bank you can actually charge it with both ports at the same time so you can use two separate power adapters plugged into this and if they add up to 170w of power then it's going to split the power between ports and charge this really fast so the other day it was down to like 40% I plugged it into my 67w and 100w Anker chargers and this thing charged all the way up to 100% in about 14 minutes from 40% so I was really impressed with just how fast this is able to be recharged"

Any other brands/models support this feature?

    • Not sure, only seen it in pornos!

  • Wow, $300 for a usb charger, pure madness!

  • Looks coo, but is it a deal?

I believe this is a better deal IMO:

UGREEN 300W GaN III Charger ($279.99) but on checkout it's priced at $223.99 including delivery and its coming to my door by Thursday.

      https://amzn.asia/d/6qE61qd

      • Yeh ok. Both look nice, I can see them being very popular sub-$200.

      • Looks good.
        Ugreen is reputable

  • I got that Nano powerbank in Japan while I was out and about - it didn't come charged which screwed me over.
Otherwise its been good. nice and small and can top up my 15 Pro quickly.

  • Hey. A bit off-topic but I can't find enough info about it at Costco so I thought I'd post here first. Costco have a new Anker Charging cube which looks to be significantly discounted. Do you guys think it's the same as this one Anker is selling for $299.95? Is anyone able to go into a Costco and see what you get?

    • They look a bit different - the Costco model seems more rounded (especially the retractable watch arm). Given it looks similar to this ebay listing, it actually might be the better buy as it's Qi2. Compared to Anker website model, the Costco comes with 40W adaptor (vs 30W Anker)

  • This is pretty cool, but who would have 6 caples plugged into 6 devices on their side table…., especially high amp charge devices which would be quite large.

It took me a while to work out that this is a USB-C/USB-A power supply.

I'm not sure when power supplies started being called "chargers". But this definitely looks like a power supply to me. It even has a knob for adjusting the power it supplies.

    • Since it had a chip controlling the current to suit the battery it’s charging.

      • Does it? It appears to use standard USB-C PD negotiation.

It has control over power output for different ports, but that would be the same whether powering a device or charging one.
