I’m seeing the discounted prices. Located in ACT

I've checked multiple Melbourne stores and they are showing the prices in the title

  • Lifetime Product Replacement Warranty!

What does that mean in practice?

    • Lifetime means - whenever the company goes broke, you lose your warranty. Probably doesn't cover wear and tear either.

If it falls apart by itself - probably covered. That's about it.

    • Lifetime = expected lifetime of a product. So they could argue this is a charger that would last 3 years, as it might be paired with the expected lifetime of a phone, so it would only be 3 years warranty.

so Lifetime warranty = Australian Consumer Law

Or according to Apple, 12 months😅🍎

        • And it is a privilege.

Looked into this. Jackson's manufacturing warranty is the usual one year only.

So looks like it's Bunnings that's offering the lifetime warranty. There's nothing on their site including returns policy about it being the "expected life of the product" or three years etc, which is what ACL provides, so not sure where the commenter sourced that information from.

Bunnings are usually pretty good at returns and given that guarantee is on their site with no qualifiers, I'm pretty sure they'd have to honour it. I doubt the average staffer there will send an $8 purchase away for Jackson to evaluate.

      • On the box it literally says "Lifetime Product Replacement Warranty".

    • I had a Jackson charger fail a few years after, they replaced it with an updated one.

The reviews about this brand are not good

    • Where are you reading these reviews? Just so I can go look.

Not sure whether to go with these or IKEA similar options.

    Input: 200-240V - 50/60Hz 1.5A Max.

What a strange device. I haven't seen such charger that can't do worldwide voltage for the last 20+ years.

If you can't find stock, remember that IKEA 30W PD charger is always $10 (no free shipping, though).

  • 20w charger is not gAn right?
Also, does it matter if it only does 200v in asian countri3s?

Why not spend a bit more for a proven PPS 100W Novoo GaN charger? https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DKDXX8D1?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-re…

It's an absolute beast, very small and only $54 at the moment. Can charge a laptop and mobile phone at the same time.

This is a much better deal for Amazon Prime members - https://amzn.asia/d/gufpRvE
2 x 45W USB C chargers and 2 USB C cables for $29.99 and I have a coupon at present to bring down to $22.49. Have at it! ❤️

  • I bought the 45w and 65w one and have received it.
    Its nice and compact.
Surprisingly 65w one is the same size as the 45w one.

Confirmed that both charge my Samsung phone at Super fast Charging 2.0
