Thats 11.5m in non freedom units.

  • How bright are these, ive bought a couple pairs from bunnings and they are quite dull, even ones that plug into wall. Ill give these a go and if no good, costco it is

If you want bright best to go e27 mains powered ones then can just up the power of the globes according to taste (they also exist in low voltage e27 style, will just need the appropriate globes and a power supply)

      • Thanks for the tip, I will look into that.

    • Pretty sure these products are mostly decorative, rather than providing significant lighting.

    • Also seeing $31.81 and I'm definitely logged in to Prime. Not sure how to access the $20.63 price. Any advice, OP?

Must have been using freedom dollars.

  • Price is $31.81 for me

  • There was a coupon box and it was a lightning deal so assuming the coupon has been exhausted.

  • Does this have battery for evening use or need to plug it in?

  • It shows $31 for me.

      38ft long durable string lights

      serious doubt about durable part.

my experience with all kinds of cheap solar, ropes, lanterns from bunnings as well is they are all junk.

they just stop working within a year and unrepairable. I stopped buying them.

you can clean cloudy panel area with spray laquer like it says on YouTube but it doesn’t help if it’s broken inside. I broke open last two I bought because I couldn’t believe it. one had rust on electrical board (IP rating is a lie) and the other had no sign of damage, but just dead. replaced batteries and still wouldn’t work.

      • I usually take them apart and spray water proofing to prevent these rust issues. They last much longer with this. The newer ones with LiFe PO4 batteries last longer also.

        • well I’m no expert but just my experience like most people who just set it up and leave it.

if you open it up before it breaks you might not be able to return it. I only opened up the last two that broke on me because I was not going to buy anymore.

          • @harshbdmmaster718: I think end customers should not be expected to take such preventative measures to avoid items dying prematurely. Ensure to always file your warranty claim or file for refund, or at least leave negative feedback with these Amazon sellers.

@Jimothy Wongingtons: I have returned the others but since I wasn’t going to buy anymore I opened the last ones.

only one or two were from amazon. most were from bunnings and other places ($10-$20 range) that have them on sale but a lot of them are very similar. very cheaply made and when you open them they don’t even have silicone seals to keep them waterproof.

and yes I always leave a terrible review if the product was horrible.

      • I have the ones from Costco which often go on sale for around $80. Going 4 years strong and are nice and bright.

A good indication of quality is the gauge of the wires.

$80 for just one? or $80 for a 10 pack?
