I'm interested in this comment, why is PayPal safer then normal cc? I assumed you get additional manufacturers warranty on must purchases by using cc.
I don't have a credit card.
PayPal has a dispute system that sides with the buyer very easily.
Trying to go through your bank with a debit card is a lot more work.Ah makes sense, thanks for replying. Thought I was missing something for a cc point of view.
Can confirm have bought a few through here for myself and family, my 2C 2k "C" grade I was extremely happy with, theyll be outside and can barely see the small scratches on them, my parents 1080p ones were fair bit more marked but still 1m away cannot even notice them.
Obviously if you want the cheaper deals check out the other models.
Been considering getting the refurb homebase 3 for themAlso the 3C 4 Pack comes to only $599.98
https://goodbuyz.com.au/products/eufy-security-eufycam-3c-s3…That's what I call a deal. Ordered the 3c for $599. I was hoping for an Amazon deal, but they had pretty shitty deals the whole week and I almost bought them from bunnings yesterday for 1200. Thank you for saving me $600… legend. I would give 10 thumbs up if I could. Also never heard of goodbuyz before. They are definitely going into my favourite list.

Wait until you get them before adding a company you have never heard of (by your own admission) to your favourite list.
I have had to put a warranty claim with Eufy for my Eufycam 3 cams (two of three due to cracked lenses and one which ceased to turn on and was very hot discharging battery) 12 months after purchase, successfully.
This is what Goodbuyz says in their warranty page.
All costs involved in claiming this warranty, including the cost of the retailer sending the product to Directed Electronics, will be borne by you
On a seperate note, who is "Directed Electronics"?
you reckon the intensity of the aussie sun is a factor?
honestly they'd probably perform well with just morning/late afternoon direct exposure and shading for the rest
anyone with experience care to comment?
The cracking was actually caused I think from the cold during winter over in Melbourne. That's the first time the cracks were visible causing blurred vision in my recordings. And coincidently this happened to both cameras in the same week.
@Lucille Bluth: as long as the lens isn't scratched i don't care. One of the reasons why I didn't get the ones with integrated solar panels is that all my cameras will sit under the roof, no rain but also no direct sunlight. I will hook up cheap aliexpress solar panels to each camera and replace them if necessary every 2 or 3 years.
@Lucille Bluth: perhaps a bright winter sun first thing on a frosty morning
very strange they would be so fragile, good to see that warranty held up as it should have, could have been a manufacturing defect with that batch
Directed Electronics are the AU distributor for Eufy.
I would give 10 thumbs up if I could.
But you didn't even upvote it.
thought i did. the ozbargain app is little buggy sometimes.
Ture, I always have to click 2 or 3 times, and it has been like this since last month, I thought it was my slow internet connection.
Thanks OP, been looking at these forever and finally bit the bullet. Bit concerned about wifi signal range with HB3 but see how it goes.
It's pretty huge. About 100 Meters line of sight. Can't be integrated into your home mesh however, it will always use the Homebases own wifi.
Bought one thanks, hope the solar charging changes things as my Arlo 2 pro needs charging TOO often.
I have the 2k Eufy camera set ups. I charge each camera using $15 solar panels bought from ebay. Never have to take them down and charge them. The benefit of the 3C 4 pack is it has an auto night light which is really handy.

I have 2C PRO Eufy as well! Can I know more about the solar panel?
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/375171618817?var=644204823320
Plenty of options in ebay. Basically just plug these in and set up the solar panel somewhere that gets a couple of hours of sunlight and forget.
I have the HB3 and only need the cameras but they are relatively more expensive than the whole kit!
Anyone know if it supports home assistant fully?
Can these be set to continuous recording with an expanded HDD in the base?
No, battery cameras can't do continous recording.
I don't remember if you can if they are wired. But i know the indoor cams can, which are hardwired.
EDIT: https://support.eufy.com/s/article/Does-the-eufyCam-system-s…
This model says it can record 24/7 if hard wired https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/eufy-security-eufycam-e33…
They were recently new for 997….
Do you have the link
Like I said, recently, but expired.
That's a good price
Can anyone recommend a good gutter mount for the S330? I see quite a few on Amazon for all different eufy cameras, but only one ridiculously expensive one that directly says it supports the S330. Unsure if it uses the same screw as the 2C or 3C.
Has anyone had any notification about their orders being shipped? I bought mine when the post came out and it is still in the "order confirmed" stage…
Unfortunately not, mine also hasn't shipped yet. I'll message them at around lunchtime. Would like to install them on the weekend.
Did they respond to your message?
They did. They are currently preparing all the packages and it sounds like there is little bit of a delay because they sold more than expected and it could even be that my order will be cancelled.
Mine also hasn't been shipped yet. No emails / updates from the seller either. Used Paypal and bought the grade A 2 cam package just in case…
Just got a shipping notification for the 3C 4 pack for $599.98
I also got a shipping notification too. It's coming today.
did you get a tracking number?
Yep. Via auspost
What a waste of time from this store - who here was actually successful in grabbing the kit?
Hi,
Thank you for your order.
We regret to inform you that, unfortunately, we currently do not have stock for the EUFY SECURITY EUFYCAM 3 (S330) 4 PACK PLUS HOMEBASE 3 (C-GRADE REFURB) you have purchased.
We are actively working on building the kits as we received many orders, but this may take some time.
Alternatively, we can offer you a refund instead as we cannot guarantee we will have enough stock to fulfil all orders.
Please let us know how you would like to proceed, and we appreciate your understanding.
Thanks,
Kind Regards;
Chavini

Are they out of stock or are they building kits and it might take awhile? It's a little confusing.
got the same message, I decided to wait. I jumped on the 3c deal the moment i got the email notification. I'd say i was among the first to buy that 3c kit and still hasn't shipped. How many of these kits do they have…10? I hope they are now taking A grade kits and ship them, to fulfill the orders.
smells like a money grab first, then source the stock. a little bit of false advertisement and misleading/deceptive conduct…
Ditto here. Will wait as long as Black Friday before refunding for a similar / better deal.
That is still another 1.5 mths - not even sure if they will be around by then…
True. We are moving houses next week and have the 2s to keep us going for now.
Received mine (2-pack S330 Grade A) today. It was delivered in the original box sealed but I haven't had a chance to open the box yet.
One of the lucky ones!
Yeah, I got nothing but a confusing email from this shop.
I emailed them last week - no reply - gonna pull the plug soon with Paypal if they dont reply by mid this week
I opened the box last weekend. The HB3 appeared to be brand new, but the cameras are definitely not new, although they are functioning well. Both cameras had a couple of deep scratches on the bodies, but these are not noticeable from a distance.
And you got the grade a, wonder how the grade C is?
Yes exactly :)
Looks like they have the normal 3c package in stock (A grade). They should honour the previous orders and simply ship those. That radio silence and no ETA is really annoying.
Got the shipping notification for the 4 pack S330, now to order a couple of gutter mounts.
What gutter mounts are you going to use?
https://www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs=1&goods_id=6010995920…
Ordered 4 of these for $8 each, with 40% cashback from topcashback today with any luck they will fit.
Received a delivery coming notification for 4 pack S330 too, those gutter mounts look good!
Just wondering if it worth putting some rubber caps on the screw ends to try and protect the gutter.
My order finally shipped. Fingers crossed they are in great condition.
Recieved mine, apart from not being in a retail box and the plastic removed from the front of the camera lenses they seem brand new.
Received my s300 pack today. Came in original packaging, Homebase 3 is brand new incl stickers. The cameras are slightly used and have some minor scratches on the piano black front, but the lenses are perfect. Everything is working fine very happy with the deal and the money saved.
I got this at Super Cheap priced matched by JB HIFI at $999. Then online Supercheap gave me $21 off for an online promotion. I also used macquarie gift cards at 7% off = so all up cost me $910 brand new.
That's the ozbargain way.
Maybe a different perspective on what is NEW and A, B or C grade refurbished. The moment you open/ even cut that little sticker of the box, the whole package is not new anymore/ can't be sold as new. So you never really have new things, which also means you are overpaying quite a bit just for the experience to carry a sealed box home.
So the real deal is always going with these refurbished products or display models in store, then apply discount codes etc. Or when there are amazon deals, use the information and buy on FB marketplace and negotiate an even lower price (still look for warranty). Buying new is always a bad deal.
Thanks OP, took a punt, used paypal in case its dodgy.
