If their oil filters are any indication of quality, I wouldn't expect too much. That said, I guess better than having deteriorated wipers.

    • I buy them for under 3 dollars each, can't complain

I wholesale them by the container load so I know the cost price of these. Some customers love them, but I would choose something else for my car.

      • Where do you biy them from

        • -2

          where else , china

        • Indonesia.

Sakura is a brand of ADR an Indonesian company made in Indonesia.

What's wrong with theie oil filters? I use them all the time

      • +1

Nothing really "wrong" with them, but I have found the oil drains very quickly back (within 20 minutes) into the engine. On other brands, the amount drained back into the engine much is slower.

Also in a container load, from time to time they can have mistakes such as not threading these, or wrong thread. Mistakes happen in factories, but I've never had a genuine one with the same mistake.

At the end of the day, they work as intended at a very competitive price, and most customers will have no issues with these.

  • How new are they? Anyone use these before?

    • +4

No these are brand new, unused :)

  • Is it easy to fit them?

  • probably the same type/quality as set of wipers (front/rear windscreen) for $14 delivered from Aliexpress

  • I actually thought that Sakura was a reputable brand.Ive been using their oil filters for a while now and have been happy enough.

What exactly makes a happy oil filter user? Wouldn’t you need to get an oil sample to the lab to see how effective the product is?

Vs wiper blades which soon give a clear visual indication of their quality when the rubber warps, cracks or hardens and stops swiping the water away properly

      • That's great so do you sample your oil twice at every single service?

        • Who uses oil?

  • +3

Fair point.I guess a more accurate critique would be that i have had no issues with their oil filters over the years. No oil pressure difference,no sealing issues with the mating surfaces, and after cutting them open and comparing with other known brands i haven't found any quality control issues to speak of.Other than that, its a bit hard for an average joe like myself to review it more in depth.

Thanks OP, my current wiper frames are going rusty, so this will replace them. Hopefully the rubbers will last a while too.

For anyone just looking for rubbers, I've been using these, they seem to last a reasonable time, but you'll almost certainly have to cut them to the correct length to match your vehicle:

BigW have only one size, 24 inch, so not usable if your vehicle needs longer than that. Trim them to length if your vehicle needs shorter.

BigW also have a 3-piece set, but natural rubber instead of silicone rubber. I haven't tried these:

    • I bought them like 3 years age and yet to install them

  • Great price, worth the punt
