I bought it last time around due to the hype but trust me its just the hype. It doesn't do any better job than the typical Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge. Yes Scrub daddy will last longer but its also quite expensive compared to the Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge which only costs $2.50 for the 3 pack when its on sale. A good lesson for me to not always buy into the hype.
I will admit if I have a very greasy job, I won't use a scrub daddy. And I do run them through the dishwasher to clean them, but they are all like new. I don't do a lot of handwashing tho..

What is this and why do people buy it?
i was skeptical at first. bought one and love it.
Hype maybe?. Original product may have been good, but brand was sold off and people have complaints against it now.
I tried it once and after some time it starts deteriorating and leaves small yellow bits everywhere. Won't buy again.
Eco tip- If you have ability to plant a vine somewhere, grow a luffa vine. About 6 luffas from two plants is reasonable, cut up into 3-4 pieces. Biodegradable sponges to chuck away every few weeks.
You do get fakes of these, even on Amazon sometimes if the one you receive is from a pool of products some random person submitted. They look genuine, but fall apart quick.
