Idk anything about this brand quality or usual pricing, but $3.50 for a sponge seems like a lot.

Used to use sponges, been washing up with brushes for about 5 years, works well and costs less given brush lifespan. Feel like it'd be more hygienic too.

  • They're a good product, a good brand. A box like this will probably last a year on dishes, and I rotate out old sponges to other parts of the house (bathroom/outdoors etc) when they 'retire' :)

I'm not going to buy these anymore. Clearly this company (or whomever they sold to) has figured out that the original material lasts too long.

Recent versions seem to fall apart very quickly, by comparison.

Seems to me just another case of getting you hooked on an excellent product, and then reducing the quality significantly to maximise profits.
