I think this is ATL for this specific version with the VDE handle. Other handle versions have been slightly lower in the past (but not at present).

The jaw has an interesting shape on one side so supposedly it grips a flat surface better. I don't have one, got just the long needle nose (below) this time round.

What 2 knipex models would you buy if you just wanted a standard combination and needle nose similar to the ones that come in the Bosch 3 pack?

    • Sorry, I don't know what the Bosch three pack is and I don't personally use combination pliers but maybe this one? Seems like its on at a good price https://www.amazon.com.au/Knipex-200-Combination-Atramentize…

I don’t require combination specifically. TBH I don’t even know what that means, just thought those were the “standard” ones.

Just looking for 2/3 most useful and high quality pliers, one of them being needle

        • That looks like a pretty good deal tbh. Impossible to say what is most useful without knowing what they would be used for. You say you need needle nose… but why? Maybe you would be better to get something more specific for what ever it is you're plannign to use a needle nose for.

I think the equivalent quality in Bosch would be their professional blue range - making them more expensive.

    • To be honest if the question were which two pliers would be most useful about the place I'd probably pick a stubby needle like this one (alternate handle if you don't like the VDE) and a cobra style plier, 250 or maybe even 300mm.

Could you supply direct links to both please? Many thanks

Ah, plenty of links in the OP to look at, if you need something else just search yourself ? Thx… ;)

I think this is ATL for this specific version

It's not, this exact item was $24.07 back on 18 July and you could get an extra 12% off that price too.

Of course I didn't manage to buy it then because I was trying to figure out what else to order when the deal ended.

  • Knipex or NWS?

both Made in Germany… (NWS Solingen, Knipex ???)
