Does it run hot because of MLO or it's just by nature a good heater?
My cat will love it
Probably not caused by MLO
I always turn off MLO but it's still quite hot
wtf wifi 7 affordable? did I go through a hibernation period without realising?
Also Mercusys AX6000 8-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router $119
Yeah is this a good option wifi 7 is not really supported by many devices atm that im aware of?
But don't you want 6E, at which point you may as well get 7?
You need Prime to get the $119 price on Amazon AU. Prime deal. So better grab a Prime membership if don't have it.
No it is $119 at other retail stores just do a google search no need for prime membership.
I see. You are referring to sellers outside of the Amazon AU web site from their own online store. No problems. 😀
That is a better option then the wifi 7 the wifi range is much better.
It's showing as $208.05 at the moment for Prime member. It seems that you save an extra 95c now since this deal was posted on Ozbargain.
You can save extra 20% by bundling with $11 usb wifi adapter. (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0D92F5HX4/) gets total price down to $175.24. Main appeal for this router is that it's by faaaarrrr the cheapest full multigig router. 4 total 2.5gbe ports + Wifi 7.
Think twice before buying this for its MLO function, because It's not very stable when broadcasting multiple SSIDs
Plus it runs quite hot
A router gives my retired laptop cooling pad a second life LOL
