Not as low as $569 from this deal but still excellent price if you are ok with its tarantula looks.

Most devices today don't support Wi-Fi 7. The only device in my house that does is my iPhone 16 Pro, and with my GT-AX6000 (a Wi-Fi 6 router), I get 900 Mbps download speeds from my 1-gigabit internet connection. The 6 GHz band is finicky and has limited range, so for now, Wi-Fi 6 remains the best option for most people, especially since high-end Wi-Fi 6 routers are becoming more affordable.

$839 delivered to me in outback NSW.
$589 delivered to my family in Kiama NSW.

Surely it doesn't cost them an extra $250 to deliver further away in the same state. Downfalls of living remote these days and wanting stuff off Amazon I suppose.

Amazon don't deliver a large number of items to non metro postcodes anymore, including this giant enemy crab router.

One of the non advertised changes to Amazon Prime.

The $839 seller is not Amazon.

      • Have Amazon have upped the postage rates to non-metro areas? If so, does that also apply to Prime members?

    • amazon wants you to visit your family more

I rate routers by how many antennas are shoved on so needless to say i rate this one HIGHLY

  • It's almost half the price of a desktop comuter.

    • how does one commute with their dekstop?

      • If they have an Apple Mac Pro with wheels, I guess they can ride on it.. although those wheels alone cost twice as much

        • Holy f, those castors cost as much as a herman miller.

  • I got 2 of these for $569 in July to replace RT-AC5300 in mesh. Great router. WAN in 2.5GB port, getting 950/47. Use 10Gb for backbone. Merlin firmware.

FWIW, I can't recall the last time we had a huntsman spider in the house since I got these!

    • Each for $569 or both. Too good to be true for both but who knows if there were any price errors.

      • I wish both, $569 each.

  • FYI, you can ask JB over chat to pricematch and then use the $30 perks voucher. But you'll need to add approx $10 delivery.

  • What would people recommend to use to extend wifi with AiMesh using wired ethernet backhaul?
