Would I need about 6 of this for a full car?
No way. 1 bottle should be enough to use about 4-5 times on an average sized car.
Your average must be quite small then.
Is your daily a school bus?
@MS Paint: On school run days, yes.
Less is more with this product.
Not sure if you're trolling, but ms paint already gave you the right answer
Good shite this is. 👍
What do you use it for?
Nuthin' too outlandish I'm afraid.
super-hydrophobic protection
Is this really much better than hydrophilic protection?
Bruh. Hydrophilic = water loving i.e. It attracts water as opposed to repelling it.
Yes, and water helps keep your car clean…
Wonder if we can use it with Graphene top up. I alr coated the car with graphene.
I just got myself a new car. Can anyone provide me advice on what steps I need to do before adding this?
Wash and dry then apply this following the directions on the bottle.
This is not a legit semi permanent ceramic coating. This is just a temporary sealant that has ceramic coating properties.
What would you recommend for semi permanent?
That's a lot more work and requires multiple steps. Starting from scratch you will probably have to buy $3-400 worth of gear/products before you even apply a semi permanent coating. There's a million YouTube videos on this topic.
@MS Paint: Might just stick to the wash, dry and ceramic coat. It's a rabbit hole when you start looking into it with the clay bars and what not.
Yes you apply it every few washes.
It is not as long lasting as the ceramic coating the ming moll tries to sell you when you buy a car.
However, it is so. I h cheaper you never outlay as much as the cost of the new car ceramic coating over the life of the vehicle..
Personal preference really. Most people don’t bother with either.Yeah I didn't fall for that old trick. For $2000 we can add on paint protection and ceramic coating….
This stuff works well. Lasts a number of months. Can apply double coat. I use it with their CMX car wash to make it last longer. It's easy to apply and rub off. Works very well on the plastics too.
Doubt anyone has every paid $69.99 for this.
