Probably not the most ideal time to be dropping a OzBargain this late on a Friday afternoon, but hey… after our last pick up only deal we promised a deal with delivery as an option so here we are to deliver!

Lets see if anyone notices before the algo buries it. Back to a good old promo code at checkout deal, nice and simple. Add the PC to cart, enter the code above and voila… $500 off.

That and we saw a deal from the competition with a similarly spec'd offer (7500F/4060) and though we could throw our hat in the ring with a pretty sweet value proposition!

How does it compare with the most recent competing 7500F/4060 deal from earlier this afternoon?

From what we can tell… for $351 more you're getting…

  • About ~ $330 worth of Steam Gift Card promo value redeemable from MSI vs $0
  • Double capacity, faster, lower latency the RAM 32G 6000MHz RGB (higher is better) / CL30 (lower is better) vs 16G 5600MHz / CL40 non-RGB
  • 8+2+1 phase VRM / 4 DIMM Slots / WiFi 6E / BT5.3 / Type C 10Gbps / 2x NVMe Slots vs 5+2+2 phase VRM / 2 DIMM Slots / WiFi 5 / BT 4.2 / No Type-C / 1 NMVe Slot
  • 1.5TB of NVMe SSD storage vs 1TB
  • 240mm AIO RGB Liquid Cooler vs AMD entry level stock cooler
  • 750W with 5 year warranty vs 650W with 3 year warranty
  • MSI 321R Airflow RGB ATX Mid Tower with 4 RGB fans & Type C 3.2 vs Nebula N3 mATX with 1x RGB Fan & no Type C
  • FedEx Shipping from $32 with free full insurance (varies by post code) vs Unspecified Courier @ $50 flat rate + $30~ for insurance

Even if you have no interest in the massive Steam gift card value, there is a pretty compelling amount of additional value with all the other gear and features that might themselves be enough to justify the value difference :)

Questions regarding Windows licenses & installation
- Yes, our licenses are 100% genuine OEM or retail licenses purchased directly from Microsoft authorized distributors. Physical copies of these products are provided with the PC including the license key cards and installation flash drive (for retail licenses) or COA stickers (for OEM licenses). Any system builder that doesn't provide these could be charging you full price for a grey market key of significantly less value and questionable origin. Always demand the physical copies!
- Yes, if you purchase Windows from us we will have it pre-installed, setup, updated and with all the required drivers pre-installed ready to go out of the box.
- No we cannot pre-install Windows for anyone who doesn't purchase a genuine license. We'd love to offer this as a service for those who already have a genuine license but selling a PC pre-loaded with Windows without a license purchase is strictly forbidden by Microsoft.
- Yes, if you have a genuine retail (not OEM or volume) license you can provide to us and that we can validate as genuine, we can activate it for you and provide the PC with Windows pre-installed. Contact us after placing your order with your order number and license details to arrange. OEM or volume keys cannot be accepted as they are non transferable to new systems.

Now the real competitiveness starts PepeLa

  • Excellent deal guys

  • All of these pc deals from rival places of business it's a battle to the death for our dollars! https://youtu.be/Gx4hpJc_BkY?si=6LVs-9xiy2mr3uDe&t=155

Anything in a small form factor so I have half a shot of convincing the wife it’s “just a normal computer”?

    • Or mtax at least

    • -2

Convince the wife? What for, it's your money bro, screw what the wife thinks

    • No glass and no flashing RGB but with gaming innards is perfect for middle-aged dads who want a stealth gaming pc. We want them to look like a corporate workhorse.

  • So $150 more than the pick up deal with cashback (once you upgrade to the 4070S) but includes the extra 1tb SSD for that price as well.

Did notice that the upgrade to the 750GL PSU was $34 with the pickup deal and $54 with this one?

    • +2

The way the discounts are applied are a little complex / messy on the back end. They're blended across different components to different degrees on each configurations.

This messes with how the price differences get calculated on certain upgrades over others. The price difference between option A and B don't change from one deal to another, but the price difference between (A + $20 Discount) and B do.

Are gaming PC's good for AI image generation? Because the responses I keep seeing is other specs don't matter it just need powerful gfx card

    • The simple answer is, "probably". The longer answer really depends on your AI generation method. Some use CPU, some use GPU, some use TPU. Many are cloud based, so your system doesn't really make much difference at all..

      • Well I'm not really up for spending so much on a new PC. I've got a decent laptop but weak GPU, if I can get away with an External GPU then that will be my preference. Know any good ones for AI image generation?

        • +1

Not really. All the external GPU’s I’ve seen are way overpriced

about the Steam Gift Card promo, is it like a retail physical card or is it the Digital Steam Gift Card? need to know because the Digital one can be used to gift to freidns from another country

  • code is inavalid for me

  • This deal is almost perfect for me but hoping to wait until November for timing and see if they replace star wars with a more interesting game.

With fan control on this case and water cooling, are they all controlled with a curve via bios or software and not just flat out all the time? And I see the RGB on the case has a button for control, will this control the CPU cooling RGB as well (just hopeful as same brand)(assume not the ram though)

    • +1

FYI, we've just been informed the game promo for Star Wars Outlaws via Nvidia has been extended to finish on the 6th of November with the redemption end date moving to 12th December.

You're welcome to wait it out until November 6th and onwards to see if there's an alternative game, but this particular deal may not be on offer at that time, although we'd likely have something similar enough…

Edit: On the topic of cooling - it's set in BIOS with curves that you can base on CPU temp, system temp, etc. as you'd expect. We usually leave it tied to the CPU temp as that makes the most sense so it ramps up and down as needed, and hardly any customers complain if noise is your concern here.
RGB button controls all the RGB on the system except the RGB RAM - but we leave the RGB button in "passthrough mode" so that the software controls it instead. The option is entirely yours, but we feel that software makes more sense so everything can be in sync.

      Happy shopping.

      • Thanks for all the info. Happy to wait and hope for better still. Only a month.

With the cooling and rgb that's great to know. I have read that other cases included in some deals don't have all PWM fans so they'd always run at a constant speed.

Could we get a 64GB ram option please

    • +1

      Added :)

Not as heavily discounted as the 32GB kit (still best value or money for option for gaming!) but there for anyone who really needs the extra memory for all their chrome browser tabs.

  • +2

64gb ram would be a nice option. Any chance of changing the case? I don't need to see internals, I don't want RGB lighting up my room.

    • +1

I'd also be interested in a more discrete case, I'm not after a disco in my office

    • I guess they kinda had to choose this case and the CPU cooler both from MSI for the Steam gift card promo. There have to be 6 MSI parts in the build to get USD 225 gift card.

I'd be very intereted if Evatech can come up with a different MSI deal with 4 MSI parts only with a smaller case and a cheaper air CPU cooler from different brands. This way we can still get USD 120 gift card and possibly pay $100-150 less for the PC.

  • Gonna upvote for these guys actually including a decent B650 motherboard with the base price.

  • 10-14 day build time kills this for me :(

    • It started shorter but had to be adjust it after getting a flood of orders over the last 48 hours.

We'll still do our best to turn them around much quicker if possible, but there has been a ton of orders!

      • I no longer seem able to add this to my cart. Is the offer sold out?

        • Still working on our side, both for a vanilla (as configured) PC and a modified one.

What happens when you try to add to cart? Any error messages or visually? Tried clearing cookies, or a different browser?

          Not sold out, still available!

        • I couldn't find it when browsing on my PC. I didn't see the huge orange button taking up half of the bottom of my screen. It stays on your screen as you scroll, so it wasn't were I thought it would be.

  • @evatech any deals on on PC's with AMD GPU's? 7800xt or 7900xt?

    • +1

Unfortunately for this particular deal it would mean entirely foregoing the MSI Steam gift card promo since MSI don't sell AMD GPUs any longer. Even their $70USD entry-level tier requires MB + GPU, so you'd be opting out of that aspect which would be un-sweetening the deal quite a lot. Our standard components for this deal are still cheaper than PCPP pricing though, so it's still a winner?

If you'd still be interested in proceeding despite the above, please feel free to reach out via our contact form and we'll see what we can do as a one-off.

  • @evatech Any chance of an ATX sized build?

    • The chassis is ATX already, we have a few MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi boards in stock which are ATX; added as an option for this one at the time of posting this message. Thanks!

  • Would this be suitable for MSFS2024?
Do you have any way to pay in 4 like afterpay?

    • A rough comparison puts the 7500F between MSFS2024's recommended & ideal spec CPUs (closer to the ideal side of things), the GPU is roughly equal with the recommended spec, and RAM is firmly on recommended due to that being 32GB. With that said, all three of these things can be upgraded on our website to higher performing options if you want to get closer to or exceed the ideal specs…

We've seen a few people utilise PayPal's Pay in 4 which may also be accessible to you if you're happy to wear the PayPal surcharge (which partially covers what they charge us for accepting a payment via their gateway). Note that click & collect is no longer an option when PayPal is used.
We also traditionally offer Zip, but that's intentionally disabled when discount codes are in use.

      Thanks for your interest!

  • Any chance we get the MSI PANO case with this build?

    • Added as options

  • Just ordered this config with a 4070 super :) Thank you for this amazing deal!

  • hello is this still available?

  • marked as sold out on website

  • @evatech any 4060 deals please? this one is marked as sold old on the site

    • We moved over to a new offering on this submission: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/872534

You can upgrade and downgrade components, such as CPU & GPU. Please reply over on the other deal or send us an email/contact form submission if you have any questions!
