Just received an email that TPG is forcing me to upgrade to their $15 plan.
I have a few car alarms and house alarms with GPS tracking and SMS alarm alerts so the current no data,payg voice allowance for $1 a month worked well.
What is everyone using now? Would it be a 365 day prepaid SIM? If so, what's the cheapest?
Have a look at Amaysim. $10 per year for their pay as you go plan. Also a good option as a dummy number that can still receive a verification SMS.

They can't force you. This is not China.
It gives me 2 options, take the higher $15 plan or Cancel. Can't stay on $1

JV has is right though, they aren't forcing you, you can move to whichever provider you wish to move to or whatever plan you want to with TPG, it's your call.

Do remember to call TPG to have the prepaid credit refund and waive the $11 port-out fee. I was transferred between 4 people until they agree to waive the fee, after I repeatedly referred TIO.
