Stock clerance? That's a stylish way to get started! Spell cheque in aisle 3…

Definitely wrong market for lazy ads lol

…. I personally feel there are better deals out there like yesterday's HP Victus Ryzen 7 and 4060. Sure it is out of stock now but I would hang on and wait for more deals…

    • +3

That one was sold out within an hour of it being posted, definitely a "once every few months type deal that you need to be constantly checking ozb for".

      • Yep fair. If I needed a sub $800 PC today then it's not a fair comparison. PS that's not my neg.

      • More like once a year type of deal.

This would make a great server. Not sure if it’s a great price, would need all the components but it’s not “useless” because it doesn’t fit YOUR needs mate

An office machine doesn't need 32gb of RAM

Spreadsheets are getting larger by the day, and chrome is still as resource intensive as ever.

HDD are completely useless these days

It isn't viable to only have SSD on a PC. Sure, we would all love the speed SSD provides but it makes sense to have applications/games stored on SSD and files on HDD. While it is labelled as an office PC it doesn't hurt to store movies/series to watch in down time.

It's absolutely viable to only have SSD's for a home PC.

2tb SSD are only around $140 or so. HDD's when not in use will power down, as soon as you go to seek something off it it's going to lock down the window for a good 20-30secs, I know, because I've done it.

My point was it's not thought out very well for value. You ahve 32gb of RAM but a HDD??? Again, for $800.

Look at this for example https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/868067

"No one needs 32gb of ram at work. Bulk file storage is not necessary at work. And you need a gpu for games… at work" Really mate?

    • HDD are completely useless

eh! I have 3 main HDD totaling 40 TB ( 2 in 2 x NAS, one in PC) for storage because I can't afford SSDs for that much storage. :/ HDDs are pretty cheap at Eastdigital. Last time I got 16TB for $250

Your ebay listing has cpu 12700 but the only option to select 12700F, so no graphics at all?? (aside from the 3050 option). Which cpu is it 12700 or 12700F?

      Good point!

With no OS as the default, they may not be even testing these machines.

Also noticed the price doesn't change when going to 2TBSSD/2TBHDD until you select a graphics card and OS.

      Very poor listing.

    • You can pick integrated Intel hd graphics from the drop down.

  • I bet both the nvme and the HDD would be the cheapest and crappiest things they could find off temu

    • Of course. This machine has been built with a price point in mind

Hi champs, WD/Kingston NVME SSD and WD BLUE 2TB HDD will be used.

ssd prices are cheap enough from local supply if u know the market

we simply offer low prices for clearance then u start worrying about other thing. U are discouraging bargain deal i think

U may ask if u wanna find out but dont assume low price is always cheap stuff

We are selling on platform like ebay need to consider the outcome of selling crappy stuff. It cost us more for doing so.

This is an odd product offering, and is massive overkill in size, noise, power consumption and, of course, specifications, for home office use.

If someone is actually considering this for a home office, don't. You're much better off with a refurbished laptop with an 8th Gen i5 or better CPU, 8GB to 16GB RAM and any SSD. You'll save hundreds of dollars on purchase price as well as some unknown amount in electricity, and you get the added bonus of portability, quiet running and an in-built UPS.

If you want something new and cheap, and don't care about portability or battery powered running, this deal will serve you better: https://www.umart.com.au/product/msi-cubi-n-adl-n100-barebon…

That's all most people really need.

Those few people who would get the value out of this PC know that the above doesn't apply to them but I'd be shocked if there's more than a dozen of you out there.

    • Agree. The spec is more like entry level gaming PC to me. Seller posting as home PC to try and convince they are suitable for home use. Yeah…you can drive a Ferrari on a street full of speed humps.

$200 mini PC like the recent Metrocom Acer Veriton does 'office' work easily. Nice and compact, low power, tucks out of the way. Would be my preference.

  • Yeah can you clarify cpu?

    • Hi, its i7-12700F provided with graphic card selected and i7-12700 without external graphic. Thanks

  • my expectation is that these were built for a business customer or such and the sale fell through or such
OS not included because the business customer probably has volume licensing which would be used.

2TB hdd sounds like a customer specced because they needed some bulk storage for backups or projects or whatever and speed wasnt an issue.

  • good price.

  • Apologize if we have confusion for the listing, let us know if u need to find out any info.
