          It's because Paramount was completely and utterly run into the ground by the woke Antifa-supporting daughter who inherited it from her billionaire father and in less than 5 years DEI'd their share price from $97 down to $10, running at losses of a combined $17 Billion (US) in that time-frame.

          Paramount as a result are being bailed out and taken over by another company entirely - who have indicated they intend on shit-canning the entire streaming platform and licensing the content to other platforms starting in a few years time.

            @infinite: I think that most platforms are going that way. Amazon, even though it has hardly any good content, now the adds have been thrown on. At first I would get 1-2 adds per episode, now im getting 2 adds, then 1 quick add and then 2 adds again before the episode finishes.

            Thank god I didn't pay for Amazon streaming as it would have been deleted straight away.

            @donman92: Yer it really was the principle of it. If they had contacted me and explained why the contract was cancelled fair enough. But they essentially cancelled it out of the blue. The contract was put in place which stemmed from a pricing error of their own doing. I would have thought they would just have left it out of goodwill in the hopes I resub after the year.

            But yes, a good run for $5.99 and I also learnt something super important. That it isn't worth it lol.

    are there any good movies / shows to watch on streaming services these days besides rewatching the same thing over again?

    I tried to do the right thing by subbing but I ended up just rewatching the same thing over and over again and just ended up with a plex system.

    Also its kind of stupid when a show doesnt have its full seasons. One of them including pokemon…

    I'm not paying for streaming until they give me the courtesy of decent search tools. At minimum the ability to hide stuff I have already watched or don't want to watch from the dash. Also subscribe to ongoing shows and filter for English language content.

      There's significantly less worthwhile stuff on there than most other services.

      But to put it into perspective, this is the price of 2.5 DVDs, for a years access to hundreds of movies and shows. We've gotten pretty spoiled by streaming.

    I gave them 2 chances to process my payment and they failed to process my payment so it’s back to sailing the high seas for me. I only watched Yellowstone and South Park the last time I was a paid up subscriber their library is sorely lacking in content for my tastes.
