Rather get the glass or ceramic one.

Anyone can help! (We love both)

    • Why the negs lol. Glass or ceramic ones will only break because you drop them. The plastic ones will break/deteriorate before you drop them.

Plastic is actually preferred for thermal stability, it won't syphon heat away from the slurry as quickly as glass or ceramic which are better conductors.

      • Didn't think of that, I use plastic because it came in the bundle with carafe. I still find my coffee is not that hot, even with boiling water.

        • just gotta heat it up. non-plastic will hold the heat better once you get it nice and hot, it just takes a lot longer.

Sorry to question but, is this official Hario (as in, opened HARIO Co., Ltd.), or is it just reusing the Hario name in Australia?

    • It’s official Hario, they’ve been posting about it on their ig.
