Is there anyway to get a discount on Playstation Plus or do I just need to wait for black friday sales?

What about Xbox GamePass looks like the previous stacking methods don't work anymore

  I've considered monthly for both, when my stack expires. I go months without playing PS5 sometimes, so if I do it monthly and cancel it each time it may work out cheaper than getting 12 months at once.
