Does anyone actually have uber one? If so, just curious if you live a lifestyle in which you have most of your meals delivered to you by Uber?
I get groceries delivered a lot. From Coles it's full price, plus 10%, plus another 10% service fee. I know Aldi is meant to be 25% cheaper than Coles' full price, so I guess compared to going to Aldi it's a big waste of money. Plus no specials on Uber Eats, so I guess I'm overpaying quite a bit.
too real
Yes because I work from home often and can’t be stuffed driving for lunch.
Part of what makes wfh so good is that you can make your own lunch at home…
@dankru: based on your previous comment, the response was spot on.
i had uber one for at least 1 year, order a few time per week, a trick is u can buy the gift card when its 10% off and withdraw the money from past order
I don't drive and I live alone so sometimes it's about convenience. Preparing meals for one can be a pain in the ass when you're tired and just want to relax.
i do but i have not ever paid for it with all the promo's that seem to start one after another.
I try not to use it because the drivers are real slow imo and generally pick up a few orders at any one time. Honestly I'm on Ubereats quite often but end up buying direct and picking up when i work it all lol.
Don’t forget to combine this with the $20 credit sign up referrals, there’s only 3 days left I believe.
Where can I find this? Can't see this under the referal tab in the app or anything in the referrals in the deal above
It was a deal posted about 4 weeks ago or so and there is a referral pool for it.
Used Uber One in the US for work for a solid 3 weeks getting Ubers and Uber Eats.
Pretty much every time I ordered anything, it was an extra $2+ more expensive than my colleagues.Did you have to give tips for every order?
I remember they used to offer 6 months free membership?
They keep charging you despite cancellation and there's no way to talk to someone to fix it. The only way to communicate is email and they still keep charging your despite escalating your issue marking it resolved etc.. They make you feel so helpless that you vow to never ever use their service again.
I even talked to commbank to stop that recurring charge but nothing helped. Had to give up on my credit card and close it to save me from further direct debits.
Uber customer support sucks too hard..Really last time I asked they refunded me the money
Anyone know if it's easy to create a new account? Do they do ID checks or is just new phone number and email?
CBA app has 6 months for free for 6 months
And they keeps debiting your account regardless cancelling it.. and they've no one to talk about it..
yeah, they got one month from me, but after couple of times contacting they cancelled
I got this: "It looks like you've already had a membership. Unfortunately, you're not eligible for this Uber One offer."
I found their membership totally useless apart from getting free 2 movie tickets once. Can't be bothered
Thanks OP.
