      Just moved from full to student via the app after signing in to uni days. Also had to sign in to my student portal through Uber.

      update: nothing yet on unidays, but the promo banner has now appeared in the ubereats app. When I tap it though, the deal doesn’t actually come up- it’s just the regular $9/month info. Wonder if that’s just me or?

      They very occasionally do a $10 meal deal, but I use it primarily for the 2 for 1 offered from many places, fairly frequently - I've gotten three meals worth of food for $20 delivered with that, before. They also occasionally do a spend $30 get $15 off that is also quite good.

    There should now be a student option to select in the Uber or Uber Eats app. Select Account then Uber One. Verification is with Sheer ID. Worked for me.

    FYI I contacted ubereats support because it still wasn’t working for me- they said this:
    “If you don't see the option to sign up, this offer may not be available to you at the moment. Please check back soon as we continue to expand the Uber One Student offering.”

    Hi everyone, I spent a ridiculous amount of time with Uber support, who took me down a wild goose chase leading to nowhere. Basically from what I can gather, if you have ever purchased Uber One at full price at some point in the past on your Uber account, then you'll never get the student rate. Furthermore, even when escalated to senior support, they won't help you to activate it manually on their end. Another "🖕 you" to Uber.
