great stuff, these are super handy and just in time for a guttering job i need to do. thank you!

    • Definitely don’t get craft right specials haha

      • Need to buy some to put in a gutter. One guy at Bunnings said just get the craft right as it’s a one off job. Another suggested Kincrome Industrial Scissors.
Would I be better off, paying a lot more for Dewalt?

        • I bought craft right to only cut in the gutter pop, 2 cuts in it wouldn't cut it and would just twist. tried tightening and no luck at all. made the job from an easy one to so much harder haha

  • Got a big gutter job coming up, already had left and right snips but these are Dewalt!

DeWalt aren't good at making snips, they're a power tool company. If you want good you should buy midwest or wiss.

  • Seems like a great deal. Recently paid $67 for a set of Milwaukee, and they were on special!

  • $25 for 3 pairs of metal shears,
I’m sure they’re great quality and not more hassle than they’re worth.

  • Thanks OP! Ripper deal, very Ozbargain-worthy

  • If I buy 60 of them I get a bag to put them in

Then refund 59 of them? Please report back if it works.

Or distribute to kids in the neighbourhood and invest in local clinic.

  • Do you really need straight, left and right snips? Can you just use the straight ones and cut on an angle like you would when cutting paper with scissors?

I might need to replace some guttering (and i've never done so before), would these snips be good for that sort of DIY work?

    Thanks!

Depends how complex your cuts are. You could probably struggle through and do a rough job with only straight ones if you're already good with tin snips. If not, they're going to make the job a lot easier and quicker and at this price it's a bit of a no brainer. Roofers use all three for a reason.

      • Thanks, ordered, hopefully, they’re decent snips… not a big deal either way at $25!

Roofer here. No one uses straights. You only use left and right.
