    • Just for future reference (if anyone else runs into this problem): My guess it's because one of my gmail addresses looks a bit too much like spam.. (a few characters and bunch of numbers - similar to one of my dial up logins - from some time ago).

      Used another spam email and went through ok now (of course going back each time to click through via topcashback).

      Now trying to patiently wait while it tracks :-)

    you used it be able to find a way out of this cashback exclusive page and get to the main website with the 5 year plan and get that to track instead, but I can't seem to get out of the box this time.

    You think if you ask the webchat for a link to the purevpn website and click on that it opens in a new window and you buy the 5 year plan it'll track?

      • AliExpress pops everything in new windows and it mostly tracks.

    • TCB/PureVPN page does not mention the 5 year plan. The tracking would be from the PureVPN landing page via TCB. When you click outside the landing page, there is a risk it will not track.

      The best value is the 2 year Max plan for US$109.95.

    Not bad if paid out. 2 Year sub (+3 free additional months) came to US$109.95 (AU$160.02 via Wise). Take GST away as no Cashback on it so total $145.47 (ex). 130% on that is $189.11 hence profit of +/-AU$43.64 if I am not mistaken.
    Now to await tracking confirmation!

            • @a1234my: Well yes as they would refund if cancelled as they have a 31 day refund policy. In turn nothing was paid hence 0% Cashback! Turning off Auto-Renew however is different (if there is an option). I just update the payment method to a Wise digital visa card and then delete the card from Wise. Ensures no renewal can be done in 2 years.

            • @a1234my: There's an option to stop it renewing or cancel completely. I will choose to stop it from auto charge. I may just do this once it's approved

    Tracked in 44 minutes :) Got confirmation email from Topcashback and the amount in Topcashback app/website.

    I replaced my Wise virtual card and got a new number straightaway. Then added a different default email in Paypal and the new Wise virtual card number.

    I deleted browsing data (All time) in Chrome mobile browser. Login Paypal and Topcashback from the Chrome mobile browser. Then proceed to PureVPN from Topcashback website and purchased it in short time.

    I always use Chrome mobile browser in my android phone for cashback transactions. Make sure in Chrome Settings - Privacy and Security:
    ✓ Third party cookies are allowed
    ✓ Send a "Do not track" request OFF
    ✓ Use secure DNS either OFF or Automatic. Do not put NextDNS or any adblocking DNS.

    ✓ Always disable Adblocker app if any.

    Chrome mobile browser doesn't have extensions/add-ons.

    This is the second time I purchased PureVPN through Topcashback. Waiting for approval from previous PureVPN transaction (130% cashback too). Previously I got cashback from Cashrewards for PureVPN and withdrawed the money already.

    • Looks like more problems with desktop browsers or the app maybe.

      For desktop browser in Windows, maybe try Chrome Portable and do not install any add-ons. Get it from portableapps website. Chrome Portable is not the same with normal Chrome browser (installed).

      • Tried again and now tracked in 39minutes. (Similar like a few weeks ago. I did buy the plus plan this time, so I would know which one tracked).

        Am going through cancellation of the order that didn't track. PureVPN wants to know what's wrong to try and fix it, when I said I wanted refund they went quiet (chat wasn't available initially so I lodged it via subscriptions - "file refund".)
        I can see that subscription looks cancelled now and no more option to file for refund. Will report back here on how the cancellation/refund progresses.

        edit: Just tried chat too, looks like the "24/7" support is talking to a bot that creates a ticket for you in the background (I don't see reference under "Help Desk", asking you to wait for somebody to review it.

        A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a response as early as possible!

        • Last time I sent emails for refund and got the refund in full. Shopback didn't track my purchase of PureVPN. I guess for bigger purchases like above $100 for example, maybe more risky with Shopback. Only this one failed for tracking. No problem with Topcashback and Cashrewards for me.

      I think so, but higher risk as approvals depend on PureVPN, not Topcashback. I wish tracking means 100% guaranteed will be confirmed and get cashback.

      Also risk of failed trackings after first transaction. Not sure about this as this is VPN purchase. Maybe give more time between transactions.

  • From the good to know points: is disabling VPN really mandatory? I'm travelling in the UAE, and well, most VPN websites are blocked anyways so I need my existing VPN to sign up to PureVPN 😅

      Why didn't you try it? If not tracked, you can ask for refund anyway. Certain VPNs have adblocking, anti tracking capabilities etc. If you don't have this feature in your VPN or you can disable this feature, go ahead. It's 100% refundable if not tracked within a month.

      • Yes, I understand…I just wasn't sure what aspect of VPN use would affect the cashback (e.g. Adblocking, anti-tracking) or just in general if VPN use was detected.

        Once the 31 days pass, from then till the 3rd month, it's a risk.

          If still not tracked few days after the PureVPN purchase, just ask for refund. No need to wait for a month.

          Get Topcashback tracking confirmation from email and check Topcashback account if the purchase has been tracked.

            PureVPN tracking is really quick, if it doesn't track in a few hours, likely there was an issue.
            I waited a day, then asked refund from PureVPN and tried again (new email of course), that one tracked and is confirmed now.
