Didnt use qc45 but these feel better than qc35 I had. Tried them instore will get over the weekend
I have both. The noise cancelling and sound quality is definitely a step above on the Ultras, however coming from QC35 and QC45, the Utras have a number of annoying things, like it's a pain to put them in the case, they dirty a lot easier because of the different material, the volume control is much easier and more precise on the QCs. They also somehow feel cheaper quality than the QCs. If the form factor was the same as the QC, then yep would recommend them easily. Definitely enjoy the sound more using the Ultras.
Try this on your QC45’s:
Bass
-5
Mid
0
Treble
-10It’s from Soundguys, who are rocking the latest B&K 5128 measurement rig.
I’ve been very happy with mine since using these settings.
On Amazon AU you get $449.1 with the promo code:
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones Black https://amzn.asia/d/6qJp7DO
I think blue color is not included on Amz
Bose QC from Jb for $149 or nothing
have had for 6months, overall same as feel and quality as qc35
has odd touch area to change volume, where you slid your finger up or down while touching the side of the headset.cant get a good accurate volume level while walking. end up using the phone rocker buttons.
you gotta pack it up in a specific way into the case.
Has odd auto off /standby function where you just take them off and it senses to turn off. I find i charge them more often than the qc35,
I use 3days aweek 2x 1hr125mins on train once in morning and once in evening.and still charge at least every fortnight.
bought from brand new.
they are quite good, but not to upgrade from QC35.
Better than qc45?
